Have arrived multiple times to no employees at the counter. Usually takes 5-10 mins for them to come back. Hit or miss on if you’ll get someone that’s kind or rude.
I WISH I DIDN'T GIVE THEM ANY STAR.... it is shameful and disgraceful if the USPS Department did not conduct an investigation with all its employees on this site, especially with Supervisor. I just have one question، and this question to THE ALL OFFICIALS IN USPS ... Is there a specific day for each package to be sent without another day ....? This is what their supervisor said after we asked the employees. We wanted to talk to their supervisor because they did not accept the package. They said we should come back another day. THAT WHAT THEIR SUPERVISOR SAID .... DO YOU BELIEVE THIS....? If this is not true... We ask USPS officials to investigate them.. PLEASE..
Went in with a friend we both had appointments pre-scheduled to submit my first time passport application and get a photo for it. I believe the gentleman who helped me was named Kenton. He was rude to my friend when she asked questions about the process which is confusing already since it is a government process. When I went up for my appointment after waiting in line for 25 minutes, he was equally as short with answers and directive to me. He filled in my drivers license expiration date as the issue date, which was 2022. I corrected his mistake after trying to tell him he made a mistake three times and him interrupting me like I had no idea what I was talking about. This was the first time I have utilized the post office in my town. I have gone to others in other cities where staff may not be thrilled to be working but they aren’t rude. Kenton made me never want to return to the post office so I don’t have to be treated poorly even when I have brought all necessary information and a polite and respectful attitude. As a side note, we arrived 10 minutes prior to our appointment times as directed. We waited in line 20 minutes before another staff member came up to assist with the line of 15 people waiting. If you need a passport application done, go elsewhere. This was one of the worst customer service interactions I have ever had.
The two rudest people I have dealt with in a long time. Yelling at costumers about how the line should go, only one person at the counter at a time, and were to stand once at the counter. All of those things could have been told to us in a nicer and polite way. I ended up leaving without what I needed because they were being so nasty. Not a single smile or friendly greeting from anyone working there.
Overall experience was good considering I and other's waited in line for well over 15 mins. There was only one person working the counter. I understand being short handed this day's but a government facility?
Mercari sellers: take your packages somewhere else. The old dude and lady will scan your QR code and say that the ship date is in the future and they can't accept it, but if you take it to another post office the same day they won't give you an issue. This is a personal decision these 2 make just to be petty tyrant bureaucrats and insure they have less work to do.
My concern is mail delivery. I was expecting 3 pieces of mail today. The mail carrier took my outgoing mail from my mailbox and placed 2 of the three pieces into my mailbox. I looked at the tracking and for the third piece, which was a small bottle of medication i need desperately. The tracking info said that delivery of my pills was attempted but the delivery area was not accessible. How was it “not accessible” when my outgoing mail was taken and my new mail was placed in the exact same delivery area? I am updating this review on 02/05/2023. I have had no problems with my current mail carrier. He’s great. However, I do whatever I can to avoid going to the post office for anything because if I do it’s almost guaranteed to take a long time and I don’t want to leave in a bad mood. I take advantage of buying stamps online and using the post office’s 24-hour self-serve kiosk whenever possible. I noticed that they were hiring and I do need a job, but I have never seen an employee at this post office smile. I don’t want that to happen to me.
Horribly rude older lady. Mumbling as she is wearing a mask and almost stroked out when I asked her to repeat the part about my shipping number. Refused to break a hundred dollar bill on a 52.00 transaction absurd you are a government entity and decided to go on break and passport photos when I returned. The other desk person was unable to help for some unknown reason, so I waited an hour to ship a box. Skip it and pay the extra $$ for UPS.
Never in my life did I ever have a lost package until I moved to Lakewood. I’ve had about 6 in 2 years now. Thanks Lakewood Post Office
2:30 on a Wednesday. 15 people in line. 1 clerk. People coming in and seeing the line and the unhappy faces turning around and leaving. A typical day at Lakewood Post Office.
