Service was a little slow, but well worth the wait. We had a wonderful server who was somehow managing to take care of what seemed like the entire resteraunt. The food was incredible. I had the combo platter baked for $32. It was all good, but the crabcake really was probably the best I have had. Everyone in the place seemed to be having a great time.
I can't give a full review but it served the purpose I needed. A great adult beverage! Only had the crab dip which was pretty good. Bartending service was quick. Didn't wait long to be served.
Came in for dinner, eatery was not busy, only about 4 other families as patrons. We were not greeted, waited about 10 mins before we went to the kitchen to ask for seating, and was told to seat ourselves. We waited TWENTY TWO minutes, no greeting again, no drink order, absolutely no contact. My husband went up to the kitchen again to place our order. There was a waitress moving around the floor, and kept avoiding our table altogether, without a greeting nor a simple, “hang tight, I’ll be with you shortly.” The table behind us even had to also walk up to the kitchen to pay her tab, and told the wait staff, “you guys need more help.” After the 3rd time the waitress walked by us after another 15 minute wait for our drinks, we decided to just walk out. I was left highly disappointed and hungry.
Definitely not worth the $54 I paid. I had the crab balls which were ok but only 5-6 balls. I had the platter that came with a crab cake a haddock filet, 3 scallops and 3 "large" shrimp. The crab cake was just plain greasy mush. I don't understand how they're famous. The haddock had a strange flavor like they use chicken bouillon as seasoning. The scallops were undercooked and had the same seasoning as the haddock , just so confusing. And the 3 "large" shrimp were cocktail shrimp at best. Very disappointed and wouldn't ever recommend.
This place has gone down hill as far as customer service, especially on Saturdays…if you can even get someone to answer the phone. One day I tried calling from 12pm-12:45 after getting hung up on the first time. Recently when placing an order I told the lady I changed my mind about getting an order of fries with the sandwich and she said rudely the total for the order is still the same…how?! $21 for 2 sandwiches and I fry?! No thank you!!! My co-worker just ordered the same thing days earlier and it definitely wasn’t the same price! A shame!!!
Never had a chance to try the food immediately turned around when I seen there was nothing but a bar on both sides not my type of place went to Red lobster instead.... There was no one there to seat anybody the Bar was my only option not good for me.Service: 1/5
Went for lunch with 3 friends. Food was very good with generous portions and reasonable prices. Waitress was attentive.Food: 4/5
I'm still on the fence about this place. The service is good and the staff are friendly but I don't think it's the best seafood service in the area. I think they need to do a round of taste test on some of their dishes to establish if they are using too much salt, if a dish's center is cooked enough, and if they should put less onion and vinegar why is this in the dish? in the sautee.
This is not the go to place for me anymore. We was here at 12pm. The shrimp taste like the sea no seasoning. Idk JUST NOT good as usual. The salad was not as freah looking as I would have liked it. If the lettuce has any brown dont use it. The drink was great and the bartender was cool. BUT THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME HERE. I just couldnt eat all my food and enjoy it. When I got home I felt sick I was in the bed the remainder of the day... no dinner or nothing.
Since new ownership the restaurant has really gone down some, especially with the crabs we went there and they were giving us four crabs at a time and it was supposed to be all you can eat. New owner sucks but the drinks and appetizers are good. food is still good. Skimpy with the crabs though very disappointed
