Great personal service and so happy they are open on Sundays! For an English speaker, I am happy that they have bilingual staff can't say that everywhere in Rockland. And we ordered patio items they didn't have in store and recieved them in 3 days. Just great service every time.
I bought this patio set with the umbrella for only $250. Love it! Customer representives were friendly and helpful. They helped me load the item onto my car.
So often I can't find what I'm looking for here. Today it was metric fasteners and related hardware. Being in Canada you'd think metric stuff would be trivial to go into a hardware store and pick up on a whim, but noooo. Imperial as far as the eye can see, but only a tiny pittance of metric. And even within that pittance you'd think something as simple as M8 screws would be on hand, but noooo. Sigh. Walked out empty-handed.
Me and my husband arrived at this location to buy 2 2×6×8 pieces of lumber. My husband does not speak french and the cashier continuously spoke french. We were informed that they don't sell lumber in bulk at this location. "Juste pour dépanner" was the comment. When I asked if we could get only 2 she said they would check. She shouted to the employee on the sales floor to check. This employee was with an unmotivated spirit to help. He circled around the floor sighing and shaking his head and then came to the cash to say they did not have any. He never left the sales floor to verify. The 2 cashiers meanwhile were at the cash complaining in french. I am french and can understand. We felt very unwelcomed in this store and will not be returning anytime soon. We decided to drive to Ottawa to get served with enthusiasm at the home depot. I would prefer to shop local but this level of service was awful.
