A museum dedicated to all things Lampasas County. This museum is run by volunteers and has been open (although not in this same location) since 1976. It is housed in a former plumbing and sheet metal shop. The floorboards are original to the building. The purpose of the Lampasas Museum Foundation is to acquire, preserve, and display artifacts about Lampasas County in order to inform the public about the history of the country through the operations of the Lampasas County Museum.
