Lamplight Grill

Stopped for lunch on the way home from Grand Rapids and wanted to try something different, so we got off the expressway and cruised into Ionia to the Lamplight Grill. We are glad we did. My wife had the Lamplight Chef salad and I had Rich's Clubhouse Melt. Generous portions of food that was very tasty and fresh. Great ambiance. It felt like you were eating with your friends and neighbors. Service was excellent and you did not feel rushed. I would definitely return if in the area. highly recommend.

I love the old town "cheers" vibe that I get when I go here. The friendly staff, the owner whom is there most of the times I've been there. My last visit, I brought my laptop as I had some media stuff to do as I'm a public figure and was able to get my job done. Great place..

Food was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Had the broccoli chicken Alfredo and Ionia burger and they both were delicious.

Inside the restaurant feels like it's very dark felling. The food was okay had open-faced hot beef sandwich not enough grav Service we had to ask for refills on our beverage.Food: 4/5

Quaint old fashioned bar/restaurant run the old family way. Excellent food at fair prices. Friendly quick service and pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of cool old sporting goods hang on the walls for your viewing pleasure. Fun place off the beaten track in a part of town that takes you back to post WW II.
