Ok selection - good prices - rip-off attempt at register - used card - no receipt offered by male attendant - when I asked for one - he hesitated - then made several quick keystrokes - and out came my receipt which a charge of $1.49 for a Black & Mild cigar - sku 28727 then a void for same In the end, I prevented him ripping me off by asking for and checking the receipt! Never going back - lesson learned
Small store, perfect walking distance to the dorms and apts at Rowan. Easy, quick stop on my way home. Very good selection from local breweries, which is why I stop there. College-town basics for the booze, disappointing wine selection but Rowan kids aren't drinking wine.
They have a relatively small selection of craft beer. The typical selection of hard liquor and wine as well. Given the location Rowan University I understand the stocking choices. I come here when I'm not looking for something different. If you stop in during school time they have bouncers at the door carding you. A minor inconvenience, but undoubtedly because of their own insurance.
CHECK YOUR TAKEOUT ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE! My last two orders had something wrong. One time they have me fried wings for smoked wings, and just today I ordered 25 and got 15. Good food though. Especially the smoked wings. Nobody around here makes anything like them. Which is why I keep going back I guess.
You need to change the hours for the liquor store on your website it says you're open and many times I've driven there and you were closed. I mean really. If you're closed at a certain hour then let your customers know!!! Did I mention everything is overpriced so they can charge college students more money. Hops and grapes and canals is right down the street and you can find whatever you're looking for 4 just about half the price. Stealing money from students. Poor business ethics
I have never felt more disrespected in a place of business in my life. Because my ID was out of state, I was refused service and told to “get out and never come back.” They threatened to call the cops all while accusing me of having a fake ID because they had never seen my state license before. The amount of rudeness and disrespect that I received was appalling. I highly encourage you all to take your business elsewhere. They aren’t deserving of it.
I highly recommend this location. They have pretty much every variety/brand of beer & liquor available. And the staff are helpful & pleasant
A well stocked and friendly place. They most likely will have what your looking for.
Quite pricey compared to other liquor stores in the area. Great for knock off black & milds for only 59 cents. Cigarettes are pricey as well. The employees seem nonchalant.
Expensive but friendly. Picked up a half pint of liquor they're cost me the same price as a pint of liquor would cost me at Kenny's in Clayton you do the math
