I am the seller in this particular process and the buyer is out of state. This closing process has taken 7 days as of today and at this time, I have still not closed. I reached out to Landmark, they blamed they buyer’s down payment assistance program which has been alleviated prior to last week. Instead of admitting their mistakes, they blamed this delay on another company. I have purchased several properties in the past and no title agency has ever taken over a week to complete this process. For certain, if one party is out of state, DO NOT use this company.
The process was smooth and simple from start to finish. The staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use them again and will refer them to family and friends.
