Helpful people here. Disappointed I couldn't find anything I liked. But mainly because I'm Male. We'll return. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score.
Poor customer service...I have been several times and each time it just gets worse. Listening to the employees talk about how stressed they are cause they can't sell credit cards ..lack of service when you need help. 3 hours to find the right bra..that "fits" only to take it back and be told that it was the wrong size and I should be sized again...whatever...you fit me how is it the wrong size. Absolutely rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. Will never return and do not recommend. Yelling at customers is never acceptable...how is this person still a manager here?
So excited about some of the dresses they now sell. I had not paid attention until last week, as over the years they were too sheer, short, slit too high or too much of other body parts were exposed. Or, the patterns/prints were not attractive. I found, at least, 5 that I wanted. Usually, they have nice sales. Arranged nicely, friendly employees.
I come to this store often, but since it’s a bit of a drive from where I live, more often than not I place my orders online to save on shipping costs and pick up in the store. I’m unsure if there is new management, but I was shocked to be denied the use of their restroom as a paying customer ESPECIALLY when I have done this in the past. I’ll be certain to take my business elsewhere in the future, that is ridiculous. I would understand it if I didn’t buy anything, but clearly if I’m picking up and order I should be considered a customer. Poor, poor customer service.
The employees that work at the Charlottesville store are terrific. Very helpful and so nice. You couldn't find better people from the managers to the store clerks. If you haven't gone there for awhile go they really have updated their line. So fashion trendy! Mrs. J. Thompson
Lane Bryant in general has went up in price but down in customer service. But the Charlottesville manager seems to make he own rules about coupons and her voice is highly annoying. I try to go when she's not there. Not only is it better but the other employees seem at ease too.
I was neither greeted nor asked for help walking into this store. The whole time I was shopping, 2 employees were talking about another coworker. While walking into the fitting room, one employee told me they had to walk me into the fitting room and never came to walk with me, so I went in by myself. I had to call another store to ask for help. Once I got off the phone, both employees started yelling and arguing with me and my boyfriend. I will never come or recommend this location. Worse service I have ever got. Hopefully corporate will do something about these two.
I was overcharged for some items that were on sale and instead of admitting that it was an accident and adjusting the price they told me I didn’t purchase the correct things several times one lady even said one of the items I had wasn’t even in the store BUT another associate pointed them out to her. After I finished the return a lady said the items I had were on sale the day I originally purchased them... All I wanted was a price adjustment but they made it seem like I was at fault.
I'm so happy Lane Bryant moved out of the mall; it definitely deserved a place of its own. The store employees were helpful and even offered bra sizing. Will definitely be returning
I lovr coming to this store because the women who work there are always so friendly and helpful. They have excellent advice.
