Artistic Solutions Permanent and Corrective Cosmetics was opened in 1998 by Lanette Marie Scherr for the practice of applying cosmetic and paramedical tattoo procedures. A Magna Cum Laude Graduate in Fine Art from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, Lanette has been fortunate to have been able to direct her god given artistic talent to multiple venues through out her life time. A fine artist, it was very easy to transition that skill into the canvas of skin and has performed thousands of procedures over the course of her career. Lanette has been in good standing in the organizations Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals as well as the Academy of Micropigmentation since the beginning of her career. Although she is very busy with her cosmetic practice including eyebrow enhancement, eyeliner and lip color procedures she has become very well known around the world for her specialization in paramedical and scar camouflage procedures. She currently works with about thirty local physicians and also gets many clients by word of mouth and internet research. She is thrilled to have been able to use her talents to enable people to feel and look better, especially the disfugured and loves the challenges creatively that those cases provide her. Office hours are by appointment only. When Lanette is not performing procedures, she enjoys her other artistic endeavors, including gourmet healthy cooking, playing her guitars, gardening and her number one passion, her oil paintings.
