What a great addition to this community! This is proof that the City cares about its people. We travel and love working out here when in the area. We swim, play pickleball, volleyball and hot tub! The weighs are great with options for everyone. We'll done!
I love this place. It's great for athletic people who can actually throw balls and lift weights, and also perfect for people like me who can't do those things. I ride bikes, walk on the track, take yoga. And the staff is the best!
I'm currently visiting family here in Laramie but my daughter wanted to go swimming and it's a great indoor pool! Perfect for kids only $4.50 entrance fee too!

What is with the inconsistent "rules"? At the first set of swim lessons, I was able to allow my 2 year old to splash in the shallow end. But in the August lessons she's forbidden? I have a 3 year old in lessons. As far as I'm aware, I'm supposed to be in there also attending the lesson. Lifeguards need to be on the same page so I can prepare what this should look like for my younger child.
It is very disappointing, when you pay a monthly fee and the facility’s equipment is not working for over 3 weeks because the maintenance crew can’t put batteriesor charge in something, or you can’t take a shower because the hot water heater is broke, and then when you leave you see one of the maintenance crew out by the entrance hitting his vape.
This rec Center seems to cater to older folks. If you have kids or are coming as a family Your options are extremely limited. The family changing rooms temperature is FRIGID and slippery. The pool is cold my 4 year olds lips turn purple usually and not super clean you can usually find clumps of hair or bandaids floating they don’t allow you to use any noodles and have NO toys. They removed their kids room and made them in to offices. Everything at the rec Center you need a reservation for so if you just want to pop by for a swim or play I wouldn’t bother. I would say this facility is run by some very uptight old folks that hate fun. Too bad Laramie is so limited or else I would love to never come back.
Traveling with camper Oregon to Colorado. This was an awesome center. $4 shower. Extremely well kept and super friendly customer service. Highly recommend this place.
This rec center is top notch. Its clean with great facilities. They have a consciousness about privacy and they discourage gym goers to use their cell phones while working out. This is great. Also teenagers must be 16 years of age to work out alone. This is a great safety ethic. They have signs in the bathroom that read clean your hands before leaving the bathroom. They are very hygienic minded here and I love it. What you will love the most is its low entrance fee for $ 6.50 cents for adults plus their indoor and out door pools. This is the BEST community rec center I have sen worldwide!!!
This is a nice quiet place to work out. They offer fitness classes but if you have a punch card they aren't included in the price. They have a small track but it's usually pretty empty. The weight room is small but decent. The pool is the real draw here. They also have a sauna by the pool which is nice.
