Clean well organized looking library. Kids loved it especially in the summer. The only thing that was uncomfortable was the security guard following my kids and even got my kids distracted from reading at times
There was a Food Bank event to celebrate 40years of service to the Webb and Zapata county. I, as a licensed agent was here to present our community with Medicare Information.
Awesome library. Took a small tour. It has a children's section, a teenager section , with a lounge area, tv , video games. And the second floor has very Interesting displays. Loved it. Wish all the libraries we're like this. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Love the new layout. Had no idea there was soo much stuff for kids to do other than read or use computers. Can't wait to take my kid to one of their summer programs.
I always enjoy coming to the library; either by myself or with my children. Today I came by myself. My experience today was an ok visit. The energy from all the women was warm and welcoming. The guy that was there, well he was a bit of an energy taker. His whole demeanor was Uptight. Not cool
Fantastic help from the staff on the phone and in person! I needed to print documents and was able to download the app PrinterOn and connect to their printer from my phone. Then I just picked them up and paid for them at the front desk. Super easy and better/smoother than I expected. Highly recommended this location to anyone.
Great place, excellent service and always clean and organized, the staff is nice and friendly they make you feel welcome, everyone is respectful and ready to help you, my favorite library in Laredo.
The people there are very friendly and helpful. The librarians, when asked for help, go beyond their duty to make sure we find what we need. I give them ALL both staff and librariansan A plus. I miss going to the public library to sit and write on my journal or read a book. I hope it opens soon. Kudos to our Public Library!!!
I love this place!! Even now during this mess COVID-19 they keep providing services for the kids, be it online or weekly crafts to be picked up via drive through. I also love that we can use other online libraries just by using our library cards. I am so grateful to the people who work at this library & making it what it is today -- indispensable!
I was raised in Laredo but moved from Laredo in 1973. I returned to visit my mom for two weeks and have been visiting the Library two hrs a day! I just read and do some work on the computer!!! The service that the folks on the library do is phenomenal... From helping the eldery be better informed on elections, finding verse of the catholic bible for non English speaking clients, to scheduling a room for tutoring, to guiding people to use a computer!! I have witnessed patience, empathy, lots of kindness, superb customer focus!!! May the Lord continue to bless your dedication and service to the community. All I can say is thank you!!! Well Done!!!
