Went there yesterday for the first time ordered the pork chops with white rice and beans. Few hours later I was very sick I got food poisoning from the pork chops been having diarrhea all night threw up multiple times will never come here again. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Just be careful people where you go to eat and the pork chops did look like they where sitting out for a while and cooked multiple times don’t know what I was thinking fmL……….
Visited this place at 7 pm for dinner First time eating here, they have a very small selection and the food doesn't look appetizing but I figure I give it a try because looks may be deceiving. But nope definitely not worth it. No potato salad no Maduro. Which is weird being a Dominican restaurant. I would not recommend this place not tasteful and food seems to have been sitting there some time. And very small portions, If you know Dominican food you will be disappointed eating at this restaurant. 2 stars only because the lady at the counter was nice.
It's in the cut but taste amazing....me and my coworkers will be at least once a weekDine in: YesTakeout: Yes
The good. The owner seemed very nice. It is a family owned establishment. The not so good. They cater to the neighborhood which is usually not a bad thing, but there were a few very drunk men outside. The food seems to be an after thought this is more of buy a cold beer and listen to depressing Spanish music kind of place.
Chicken rice and beans top shelf with hot sauce. Service spectacular. Place is clean, and food safety appear to be in place. Might be 4 1/2 stars. Drunk guys are actually down the street a little.
Definitely a gem. It's like going to eat at your Dominican grandmother's house for lunch. Food is fresh, delicious, and naturally seasoned. We will keep going back, gracias! INCREIBLEMENTE DELICIOSO. I especially loved the pernil!
Food seasoning is ok , but not all meats have to be boiled. Next stop using too much oil. And you food will have a natural taste.
The staff was really sweet and welcoming! The food here was tasty. The prices were also affordable.
Better, fresher food than Washington heights at a better price.Food: 5/5
The fried chicken was old. Didn't like the food.
