LaScalas Birra Pennsauken

I really like LaScala’s. I’ve been to the South Philly location, but the Pennsauken location is better - more space and better ambiance. The restaurant has a classy vibe. I came in around 8 for an outdoor reservation and was seated right away. Our server was very patient and didn’t rush us at all. Loved the Birra Wings great flavor and spice and my pizza was good too! My only critique would be the live music. Great musicians but a little to loud to have a conversation. Otherwise very good establishment for the price. I’d also recommend wearing decent attire for dinner. Expect most patrons to be dressed

Had a really fantastic experience here. We ate outside and were seated right away. They have a beautiful patio with a very nice view of the river. Our server was also very nice. Food was really delicious, including the honey riccotta plate and caprese plate for appetizers, and the salmon entree and bruschetta salad entree. Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert but it looked delicious. Lots of couples as well as families with kids there which made for a nice atmosphere. We would love to come back one day.

Decent service, mid scale food. This place is priced for what they offer so that's a good thing. Very nice views in the dining room as well as on the patio. Don't go too far out of your way, but not a bad stop for lunch.

Great atmosphere, The shrimp scampi was bland and could be much better. The waitress was friendly but forgot to put in an entree.

The location of this restaurant is fabulous! The overall ambience is lovely and the food is delicious. I went with a group of 8. The server was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. I had some Truffle fries,while they were good,hot and crispy with herbs and grated Parmigiano cheese, they lacked the truffle flavor. I also tried their Pepperoni Stromboli, which was fantastic! I'll definitely revisit this location again.

I had a great lunch at LaScala's Birra recently. We took a work colleague out to celebrate her wedding. Our table got the ricotta and honey with bread appetizer and I had the braised short ribs ravioli for lunch. Such amazingly delicious food, I left completely full and satisfied, as did everyone else in our group. The dining area was bright with wide windows offering a great view of the Cooper River and its park trails. I would definitely return and enjoy trying more of their intriguing menu.

Just had my SIL baby shower there today and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so attentive and kind. Last minute they let me change the party to outside because the weather was beautiful. Above and beyond with accommodating needs, and the food was not only wonderful the portions were HUGE. Would highly recommend having your next event here, you will not be disappointed.

My husband loved the spicy tuna. I loved the arugula salad. Definitely getting the pizza next time.
