The Lassen County Public Health Department is responsible for the promotion, protection and improvement of public health in Lassen County.
Lassen County Public Health Department administers a number of programs for the benefit of the citizens in our community including:

- Pandemic Influenza Prevention
- California Children's Services (CCS)
- Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP)

The Public Health Department is responsible for the promotion, protection and improvement of public health through collaborative planning and development of an effective community health service program, working with all related and/or concerned organizations and individual citizens.
