My two brothers, my nephew, my daughter, and I embarked on a memorable 5-day hike to the Blue Glacier, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the outstanding role that Hannah played in making this adventure truly unforgettable. From the very beginning of our trip until the very end, Hannah exhibited an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every aspect of our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Hannah went above and beyond to accommodate the dietary needs of my daughter, who requires a gluten-free diet. Her extra effort in providing suitable and delicious gluten-free food options showcased her thoughtfulness and consideration for each member of our group. Not only was she a phenomenal guide, but she also displayed remarkable culinary skills that left us all thoroughly impressed. Her expertise as a guide was evident throughout the journey. Her knowledge of the park's terrain, wildlife, and history added an enriching layer to our adventure. Hannah's leadership and guidance instilled in us a sense of confidence, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surroundings and the challenges of the trail. Hannah's warmth, patience, and genuine care for her guests made her stand out as one of the best guides we have ever had the pleasure of encountering. We did the Icons trip in July 2023. It was amazing. Our guides Kara and Ian were fantastic, knowledgeable, and supportive. They really made the trip a lot of fun even though it was tough, especially day one. You just feel so accomplished afterward. This type of trip was nothing I would have been interested in, but my cousin wanted to do it and I'm so glad I did. I'm open to doing something similar next year! OH, and our group was fantastic!!

It was very easy to navigate the website to search for different hikes. If I had any questions, Scott quickly responded and did a great job guiding pun intended me on which hikes were available. I did a solo day hike to Clouds Rest. My guide, Emily, was excellent! Her knowledge of the history of the park and surrounding area was impressive. She also gave lots of information on the wildlife and plants in the park, which added to the overall experience. Emily adjusted my backpack to make it fit correctly because I had no idea it was not fitted correctly which made a big difference in how it felt. I had a couple of minor injuries along the way and Emily was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to make sure my entire experience from start to finish went great. Whatever Emily is getting paid is NOT enough. I would highly recommend anyone use Lasting Adventures for their guided tours.

This was my 2nd guide trip with Lasting Adventures and it was a great experience. Emily R was our guide and she was thorough in her preparation and did a great job leading our group through our options during the trip. Emily had loads of fun facts about Yosemite history, native plants, and animals. It was great to experience Yosemite with those added insights. Nothing tops dinner with a view looking across to Half Dome! Lasting Adventures takes care of everything and ensures a great experience for all members of the group.

My 12-year-old just finished the Yosemite - Young Adventurer's Program 11-13 - 6 Day summer camp. She had an amazing time. In her words, it was hard but great. The group of 8 kids backpacked and camped for 5 days in Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy area. In addition to experiencing nature, learning camping skills, and getting away from technology, they learn interesting facts about the wilderness they are in. Our child came back with a detailed understanding about the role that meadows play in the ecosystem of Yosemite. We'll certainly consider signing her up for another adventure next year. It's a unique experience.

We had an awesome guided trip with Lasting Adventures to Lassen! The route was carefully selected to allow us to build our backpacking muscles throughout the trip. All the group gear and meals were provided and we learned so much from our guide. It was a great first backpacking experience for my husband and me in our 60's. Highly recommend.

Our guide Caber was amazingly helpful and patient and kind. Made an arduous hike to half dome summit as easy as it can be.

My son thought the trip was very fun. He was on the 11-13yr old trip to Yosemite. The guides were very nice and taught my son a lot about backpacking and the environment they were in. He felt safe and was disappointed he didn't see any bears. As a parent, I felt like Lasting Adventures were very responsive to any requests, questions, and/or concerns.

My daughter has done 2 trips, and my son, 1 trip. They both loved their 6-day hikes and the guides, and they both want to do 13-day treks. Also, not only are they learning about backpacking and wilderness skills but also about the history of the Yosemite area and facts about nature and the wildlife. The folks running Lasting Adventures were very accommodating when we had a family emergency and have been very responsive when I've had questions. They are super easy to work with! This was such a positive, life-changing experience for my kids that I recommend this to anyone I know who is interested in backpacking and a special wilderness experience. I also would love to do one of their women's treks someday.

My teen had a fantastic experience at a 6 day backpacking trip. It was both well organized as well as a great learning experience. The guides made it extra fun and the pace of each day was perfect with some stretching and games included. As a parent, the communication was great. Highly recommend!
