Came to the library today 7/5/23. The Security Officer was no where to be found. I went to use the restroom only to find that there was no tissue no and no soap. Thank God there was about 4 sheets left so I used it. After pulling up my garments I run to the next stall and grab the tissue in there. I handle my business and finish drying off and went to wash my hands. No soap. Went to the another sink and found some soap and washed my hands. The lady with the glasses kept yelling that the library is closed. I kept telling her I would’ve been done if you guys had tissue and soap. So I finally get to the main doors to leave and the lady tells me that they told everyone at 5:30pm that the library was closing. I turned to tell her that I wasn’t here. The rude Security Guard comes from out of no where interrupting me saying “Let’s go ma am!” I said excuse me. She was asking me a question. Your staff is very rude and ignorant. I will not be coming back there! Absolutely no customer service.
Visited today, the woman that "helped me" was no help and was very rude. She wore glasses and had on leopard print flat shoes, shirt and slacks. VERY RUDE and walked away from me. NO Customer service at all!!!
The "security officer" patrolling the library told me I can't eat a chip in front of MY own laptop in the library. The library has a sign above the main computers to eat by the designated section and I know you can't eat there. I ate the chip on the empty table/chair where I can charge my phone and laptop. Only to find out, there is designated section for eating, which is a double standard and as a digital and social media marketer - that's MASSIVE false advertisement since there should not be a sign in the library saying there is an eating/drinking section. I love libraries since a little kid and shame to give a library a 1-star review; kind of explains why I only go to certain libraries in both Miami-Dade and Broward County unless I am on a time restriction. P.S. Originally, I was going to show pity and give it 2 stars only for the fact that this library is walking distance to a Publix, barbershop, 7-11, and a Dollar Tree.

Tiny library, very stuck up and not alot going on. 0 outlets so if you need to charge go anywhere else, also shares a parking lot with the police dept so you have that

The library is very small. They had a security guard, he was very overwhelming and acting very strange. I spent about 3-4 hours in the same spot because I was working on a project but the security kept hovering me and I felt harassed and uncomfortable.
My family and I absolutely have much love for the Broward County Library System. This particular location is just okay, staff not overly friendly. I do not recommend this location if you have young children. One cry from a toddler and the security guard rushes over to you to hush up your child. There are many other libraries in the county that are MUCH more child friendly so there isn't a need to settle on this one.
Rather small. Lots of computers. Has Wi-Fi area.
If you have some REALLY important business, need a real compiter to do it, and need to use a taxpayer funded librariay, well too bad. You're SOL. I had to leave, business unfinished. VERY UPSET! I WON'T RETURN! Like they care!!
