I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and my Juris Doctorate from DePaul College of Law. I began my legal career as a defense litigation paralegal at Swanson, Martin, and Bell, LLP prior to law school and continued to work there through my third year of law school. At that time, I received a Child and Family Law Fellows award from the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center at DePaul and was placed in an internship with the Chicago Legal Clinic where I worked with the family law attorney in the areas of divorce, adoption, and child representation. I was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Panter at the Circuit Court of Cook County Expedited Child Support.
