Lauren S. Thorson is a native of Cuyahoga Falls and a 2007 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls Highschool. She obtained her accounting degree from Kent State University graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2011 and became a CPA the following year.
Following graduation Lauren worked for a small accounting firm in the Akron area doing individual and corporate tax planning and returns. She then opened her own practice in January 2018.
Lauren is a Trustee for the Cuyahoga Falls Schools Foundation, an organization that supports the Cuyahoga Falls School System, Students, Alumni and Teachers. She also was a part of the formation committee for the Copley Community Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chamber Board of Trustees.
Lauren resides in Silver Lake where she enjoys spending time with her husband Greg and rooting for the Cavs, Indians and Browns.
