Update: It’s been 3 years since I’ve received my ring and I’ve been wearing it nearly daily for 2 dang covid delayed our wedding it’s stunning, it’s literally EXACTLY what I wanted because I designed it! I gleam every time I look down at my hand because I am still in love with my ring just as much as when I received it - having a custom ring is worth it! Something I didn’t mention in my original review was I already had a band - a tiny dainty one and I needed them to match the look, based on pictures I’m in oregon!… guess what? They did and I wear my rings as a set nearly every day and they are perfect together. My sapphire and my stones are in perfect condition and I clean it gently regularly. I’ve added pictures for reference! 2020: I have to say, precursor: I don’t have my ring yet. But Laurie has been so amazing to work with. First I had a sketch of my ring done before covid hit, their business was closed like most others for a bit and while they were, I had time to really think about my ring and I completely changed my mind. Yikes! But Laurie acted like it was no big deal and had a new sketch out to me right away, she helped me hand select my sapphire and got to work! They sent out friendly emails during quarantine/lock down to let their customers know what was going on every couple weeks. As soon as they were able to open they kicked our orders as quickly as possible! I just got the final pictures of my finished ring and I have to say, I’m screaming! It’s so beautiful, more than I could have imagined and I’m so grateful for my experience with Laurie Sarah and her hubby. I’m even in a different state and have to say I just trusted her and the reviews and they came through, this is a great designer to work with and I highly recommend!
There aren't enough stars provided by Google to accurately describe my entire experience working with Laurie Sarah. My husband and I are recently married and, due to Covid, decided to do a VERY intimate ceremony which saved us a significant amount of money in the budget. So, this is when I decided I wanted to create custom wedding bands for the both of us. I went through a different company for his band, and while it still turned out incredible and the company was awesome, they are no match for the experience I had with Laurie. I had a very specific vision for what I wanted in my weddings bands, as I wanted them to be both significant in meaning and in looks, but also matching with my husbands. From the minute I sent out an e-mail, Laurie was responsive AND excited! Together, she and I talked through my entire design and she even went out on shopping trips in an attempt to get my the exact size and cut of stones I wanted for my band. Ultimately, my requests were just too difficult for the size bands I needed to remain compatible with my current engagement ring, but Laurie did provide information and custom quotes should I have wanted to push my specific design. Ultimately, we compromised on something that was not only beautiful but also cost effective. Laurie provided picture references for each and every step of the process, from setting references to available stones that didn't require further shopping and even the stones that she did have to go out and shop. Once we landed on all the details, we came up with a design for the particular stones and set the plan in motion. She did all of this free of charge, before requesting ANY payment. DO NOT FALL FOR THOSE IMITATION CUSTOM RING WEBSITES THAT REQUIRE A DEPOSIT FOR DRAWINGS. Laurie did all of this for me out of the kindness of her soul and her passion for her career. When it was time to pay, THE VERY LAST STEP, she was even accommodating with a fair and reasonable price and a discount that my husband applied to the order - even though custom pieces aren't eligible. All in all, from start to finish Laurie EXCEEDED all expectations and if I EVER should need another piece of jewelry, she has a customer FOR LIFE. ORDER PEOPLE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
Laurie and Avo are absolutely incredible! The process was so seamless and easy. Great communication and they really listened to your wants and needs. I had a date I needed my ring by and they delivered ASAP. The ring itself is breathtakingly stunning and I wouldn’t go to anyone else for a custom piece. Thank you Laurie & Avo!
I researched engagement rings for over a year and kept circling back to Laurie Sarah Designs. We live in the UK so were a little apprehensive about purchasing something so special online but Laurie was absolutely amazing with her support and patience. It was very reassuring to know it was a person we were speaking with and not just a company. Laurie really made us confident that she was there to help us find the ring that was right for us. We eventually purchased the radiant cut Beverley ring in the 14 x 10mm size and absolutely love it! It's elegantly understated and yet has an incredible sparkle to it. I thought I might want a larger stone but was pleasantly surprised by how big the morganite actually looked because of the shape and brilliance of the stone. Thank you Laurie - I know we'll be coming back for the matching wedding band!
We were looking for a custom wedding band for our wedding. Because the metal we chose cannot be resized, Laurie took the time to send us the ring before they engraved it. The ring came out even better than we hoped. The design engraved on the outside is amazing, and the engraving on the inside of the band looks classy. Laurie was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable and accommodating. We look forward to returning in the future for other jewelry purchases.
I had originally sourced LSD when my daughter was looking for an "engagement" morganite stone for her custom made ring. Laurie Sarah's customer service and response time was great and Lindsay & Tony found the perfect stone. While surfing the site, my 14 yr old grandson saw the tungsten wedding rings that he thought were "cool". I ordered it for him for Christmas and he is really enjoying the quality of the ring and the cool factor of acquiring a quality ring. Her personalized service is very much appreciated.
Laurie Sarah and her husband, Avo, were extremely helpful in help us to select a Morganite for a custom-made ring. I chose to go with Laurie Sarah Designs because of the thousands of excellent reviews on Etsy, as well as the fact that she has a large selection of Morganite gems various sizes and shades, has blog posts specifically about Morganites that are useful for when selecting one, and that overall she is an expert in Morganite gemstones. Laurie Sarah was very helpful in trying to obtain from her sources a gem in a specific shade and size that I was looking for. Of the stones that were ultimately available, Avo helped us to narrow down on the best option. Excellent customer service. Great value. Would highly recommend Laurie Sarah Designs.
Laurie is the queen of Morganite! They literally have every stone you can imagine. What I really like the most about Laurie Sarah Designs is that their work is hand made. It's not from China. Their pieces are all unique and exquisite, and you won't go wrong with getting a ring from them!
