Dr. Lavu has been a long time resident of North Texas with an undergraduate degree from Texas Women’s University in Denton. She got her dental degree from the excellent New York University’s dental school where she graduated with honors in Prosthodontics while also gaining valuable experience in all disciplines of dentistry. She has worked as an associate in small office setting as well as in a large Dental chain as the dental director/and practicing dentist in the Dallas Fort Worth area clinics. She joined Dr. Jackson's practice as her knowledge and goals aligned her with the practice philosophy. She is supported by her husband and their two children.
Our office is very fortunate to have a varied, knowledgeable and caring staff. Some of our members have been with the clinic for over 12 years. Collectively, our staff functions as a great team working together in providing quality dental care for our patients. We pride ourselves in being friends with our patients and earning their trust in our abilities to contribute to a healthy oral environment and support their quest to improve or maintain a vigorous, active, healthy life style.
Our front office team of Tiffany and Michele answer the phone, schedule appointments, handle recalls, file insurance and collections, and do it all with a smile and a grace that has our existing patients asking about their families and vacations.
Our hygienist, Sonia is an expert at design, execution, and follow-up on all the needed treatments that are provided by Certified Dental Hygienists. It has been shown that healthy gums and bone reduce the risk of many systemic illnesses, including heart disease and strokes. Our provided therapies result in a healthy oral environment, a dazzling smile, and the continued whole-body health of our patients.
Our certified dental assistant, Nina assist the dentists in all of our provided care and assist in making each visit as enjoyable as possible. Their caring ways and reassuring touch support our philosophy of caring about our patients and wanting the very best health possible for them.
