EXCERPT FROM THE ATTORNEY:
I pride myself on being an attorney who has the versatility and flexibility to make every client feel like they are my only client. I am passionate about Immigration Law because this area of the law largely reflects the ideals of keeping families together and grasping dreams of new opportunities.
I am a first generation Asian American. Although I primarily speak English, my first language was Cantonese and my second language was Mandarin. My parents raised me through the lens of the persevering working class immigrant, but I also navigated through life with the experiences and skills that I gained as a U.S. citizen growing up in New York. Because of my upbringing, I am able to successfully navigate the different language and cultural barriers of the American and the Immigrant because I belong to both worlds. My upbringing also provided me with an eye-opening insight and sensitivity to all the issues that my clients face in this country.
