Bridgett is honestly one of the most wholesome and helpful people I have ever met. She is abundantly proficient as an attorney and she is endlessly empathetic as a human being. I cannot say enough good things about attorney Bridgett Garballey. I needed a family attorney and after our first initial consultation, I knew right away that I was in good hands. She answered my emails and many questions in a timely manner and always remained calm even when I was stressing out. Attorney Garballey is fair, reasonable and upfront. She made a stressful process seem like it was smooth sailing and that is also how it felt the day of my case. She was able to help get the case quickly wrapped up and I highly recommend her. If I ever need an attorney again, there will be no doubt I'll be contacting her. Beyond thankful that I chose her to represent me!
Charged me $2,000 retainer fee. During the course of the case, Bridgett asked same documents several times clearly forgetting or not keeping records of the case circumstances. During the first hearing when Bridgett was present I did not get properly represented at all, as judge addressed questions directly to me. Questions I was not well prepared to answer, yet Bridget failed to intervene as my atterney. I don’t believe she have said anything during the hearing on my behalf. During the second and final hearing date Bridgett did not attend at all and put, a different atterney on case from her team due to scheduling overlap a mere 24 hours before the hearing. This atterney being a substitute had very little interest in the case or me as the client, but actually did a fair job representing my case. Considering how little time he had to learn the case circumstances, we only had one phone conversation, leading to slightly wrong case strategy which probably did not affect the outcome. None of the goals of the case was achieved for me. After the case I had to ask for over 2 months for the case judgement documents which caused some minor financial issues for me due to lack of knowledge of specific wording of the judgement. Overall Bridgett is probably a knowledgeable atterney,but it appears she spread herself too thin with too many cases limiting the amount of focus and attention Bridget can provide to your specific case. The whole experience reminded of public defenders, but they are free and Bridgett is not. She always have more or less reasonable excuse why things happen the way they are, but your money are better off with different atterney. I feel I could have achieve same or better outcome of my case representing myself.
really difficult to get ahold of. will reply to your email with a response that has nothing to do with what you asked, multiple times, and then try to charge you for it. very rude if you confront her about this. also tries to get you to withdraw when she is not responding, making it seem like you are the one who doesn't want service. not available for very important cases. provides personal information more than legal advice. additional things i wont include here due privacy on my case. I am mainly writing this because this type of negligence from a lawyer has potential to not protect children from a bad situation and I will never support that.
