Christopher Pollard is dedicated to the vigorous defense of those accused of various crimes and the pursuit of justice in all matters in which he represents his clients.
Mr. Pollard is personally dedicated to representing clients of all backgrounds in matters of DWI, drug offenses, shoplifting, domestic violence, harassment, and all types of traffic offenses. His law practice includes DWI, personal injury, criminal defense, family law, landlord tenant disputes, expungements, DCPP (DYFS) defense, and estate planning.
Mr. Pollard earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University -- College of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he majored in journalism. He wrote for the Daily Targum and Medium newspapers. Upon graduating he covered news and features for various newspapers including The Chronicle (Dunellen and Middlesex, NJ), The Express-TImes (Easton, Pa.), and The Hunterdon Review (Western NJ). He also briefly worked in the banking industry and was an English and Psychology Instructor at Churchman Business School in Easton, Pa.
He earned his law degree in 2006 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. There he was a Dean's List student and student mentor. He wrote news, features, and profiles for The Pillar student newspaper. He was an extern for the Hon. Rosemarie Aquilina of the 54th District Court in Mason, Michigan. There he did research and advised the judge on many different cases including criminal, civil, contract disputes, and criminal sexual conduct. He was able to observe the preliminary hearings of a murder trial that received national coverage. He also volunteered at the Northampton County (Pennsylvania) Prosecutor's Office where he worked in the juvenile justice division.
Mr. Pollard has handled thousands of municipal cases throughout the state involving DWI, traffic violations, and disorderly persons offenses. He has conducted many trials and received a "not guilty" verdict for his client in a money laundering and conspiracy trial in Middlesex County Superior Court.
He is highly-skilled in the fields of divorce, criminal defense, child support and custody, and landlord tenant disputes. He was admitted to the state bar of New Jersey in 2008.
Mr. Pollard is the author of Don't Blame God For Religion, a humorous, Christian response to the New Atheist movement. It is available at Amazon.com and is published by Outskirts Press. He is an avid tennis player, music fan, and frequents the cinema weekly.
