Jim Sweeney never gave up, collaboratively we worked together and beat all odds. It’s rare to find an attorney that will go beyond all measures to make sure Justice is served. I never once hesitated or doubted Jim Sweeney. Going into a case that has posed problems that have effected not only your emotional health, ability to produce the finances that you need to survive, immigration status, whether your going to loose your minor child, and navigate a path posed with more challenges than you could ever imagine. I found out after being released from Jail that Jim Sweeney had about a 30 min window before he found out there was a hearing being held, because the District Attorneys picked up my case. Eyes filled with tears in hopes of just getting home to my daughter I couldn’t have asked for a better bail and was immediately released and was able to go home to my child. A big Thanks to Jim Sweeny and the incredible win resulting my Criminal Case to be dismissed and All criminal orders to be dropped by the DA. I am forever grateful.
James Sweeney is absolutely the best. At first I was skeptical if the outcome Mr. Sweeney was assuring me he could work out for me was too good to be true but I was on my way to prison and had heard such great things about his work from a friend that I decided it was worth giving him a try and he completely delivered in every way what he said he was going to do and in only two court appearances one of which he completely took care of and I didn’t even need to appear. Not only is he a great lawyer but he’s a good wise man that I truly owe my freedom and my time spent with my son this year to. I can’t thank you enough James. Anyone worried about lawyers making false promises need not worry with James Sweeney. Even after resolving my case he follows up with me on his own time to make sure I’m turning in my court papers and taking care of things outside of court promptly.

I was facing a bogus sales case. The states case lacked just about everything it needed to prove "intent to sell". The police recovered barely 3 grams. Not individually packaged. No money. No controlled buy, no marked money. Basically nothing but a few empty baggies not even stored with the 3 grams. They did recover a digital scale but that doesn't prove sales any first year law student knows that. It was my first sales case and they charged me with possession of a pipe which clearly proves personal use not sales. You would think with as much experience that Mr. Sweeney has that he would at the very least gotten this reduced to a simple possession in 1 court date. WRONG! One week he would tell me not to worry that " they don't have anything" and literally a week later at court he's telling me I'm probably gonna have to take the felony? Huh?? He just wants your money. He is a lousy attorney and in the end he quit me because he said I was paying fast enough. Even though I had paid him over 2000 in 3 months and 800 just the month before he quit me. I ended up informing myself a little and easily and am just about to beat the case it in 2 court dates with a public defender for free. James wanted 10,000. Garbage Attorney
