Bait and Switch and then Abandonment Three days before my case was to be assigned a court date Guy sent me an email informing me that he was withdrawing from my case, keeping my money, and informing me that if I couldn't afford a new attorney, I could request a public defender. I was forced to hire another attorney that day who was then given 45 days to prepare for a trial. Seven months earlier, I called Guy Fronstin because I was uncomfortable with my current attorney and considering changing. Guy invited Barry Paul into the meeting and introduced him as his associate. Barry Paul does not appear on Guys website as part of his staff. I told guy that there were several issues with my case that I wanted addressed but wasn't happening. In particular I wanted a trial and felt there was too much emphasis on taking a plea deal which I had already turned down. Guy assured me that if I fired my current attorney and hired him he would address the issues I was concerned with and offered to put this into my contract, as well as an agreement that we would be taking my case to trial and not be seeking a plea deal. Prior to drawing up the contract I sent Guy an email specifically stating that I would be hiring him and not his associate. Based on his assurances that he would handle the case and not his associate, three specific issues would be addressed, and we would go to trial in 90 days, I signed the contract. Sixty days later Guy informed me that he was assigning my case to Barry Paul. I reminded him that we had an agreement that he wrote that specified legal issues "he" would address. He insisted Barry Paul was going to handle the case and suggested I hire another Co Attorney if I was uncomfortable with Barry Paul. The new attorney he wanted me to hire was someone who quit his office a year earlier. I refused to hire the attorney who quit his practice and requested he honor his contract and represent me as he said he would when I paid him. Guy Fronstin abandoned the case through an email, three days before it was to be assigned a trial date. As far as I am concerned Guy cost me three attorney fees. The one I could have kept but Guy insisted needed replacing, the Guy Fronstin fee, and the Guy Fronstin's last minute replacement.
Guy Fronstin is more than just a hard working, forceful advocate for his clients, he truly understands the nuts-and-bolts of the criminal justice system, which he & his team work to benefit all of their clients to secure meaningful results. Guys clients will not only have an intelligent and persuasive attorney representing their interests, but they will have access to an attorney that knows how to work the system and achieve successful resolutions in difficult situations. I recommend Guy Fronstin to anyone who may have a Criminal Federal or State case & is seeking a criminal defense attorney.
Cannot recommend, no communication, defense was non existent. Six months of resets, attorney doesn't show to court, Cannot recommend, my monies were ill spent. Had no defense, had to get another attorney that would respond and work with this attorney. Received unfavorable decision, the firm should return my monies or at least roll it over to the attorney outside the firm that communicated the most.

I refused to hire the attorney who quit his practice and requested he honor his contract and represent me as he said he would when I paid him. Guy Fronstin abandoned the case through an email, three days before it was to be assigned a trial date. Fast forward, without Guy, a motion was filed and a judge threw out the recorded evidence after the same forensic expert that Guy ignored, demonstrated that 15 seconds of conversation were missing and portions of remaining conversations were now blank. The second forensic report actually said "I have found several anomalies interrupting audio recording, this could have very well led to some conversation as not being recorded or likely removed through dub editing." Guy and Barry still refused to file a motion. The judge then dismissed the felony charge because of a filing error that Guy and Barry missed. He then gave me a withheld of adjudication on the misdemeanor. No jail, no probation, and a sealed record. If I wasn't forced to hire a new attorney to do Guy Fronstin's job, there would have been no motion to suppress the audio, and I would have eventually been forced to accept a plea deal which would have resulted in a felony conviction.
I wasted so much time meeting with other attorneys that promised me the world and couldn't deliver or meet with me in person after taking my money. Guy Fronstin was realistic, explained all my options and truly wanted to fight for me and did! I highly recommend Guy Fronstin to anyone that wants an attorney that won't give up.
As an attorney that does not practice criminal law, Guy is my Go-To criminal lawyer for any of my clients who have the unfortunate luck to find themselves in the criminal system. If you need a criminal attorney, Guy is a Top Gun!
I would NOT recommend him. Bad bad advice.
The worst attorney ever met . The only thing he cares about is his money, not honoring any agreement and making up charges !! DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY
