Lawrence University Committee on Diversity Affairs (CODA)
The Committee on Diversity Affairs (CODA) which is a sub-committee of Lawrence University Community Council meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm. CODA promotes understanding and awareness of diversity, including but not limited to diversity of culture, ethnicity, gender, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. CODA helps identify and promote collaborative diversity-oriented programming efforts throughout the Lawrence University community. This council is composed of the committee chair, multicultural and diverse student group leaders, and other interested students.
CODA values and supports all identities on campus, especially those who feel under-represented or marginalized at Lawrence University. CODA also strives to initiate conversations that revolve around the topic of diversity hoping to create real solutions on campus. CODA's goal is to help make Lawrence a safer space for all students, staff, and faculty!
