Had a strange man follow me 10 minutes from the gym parking lot to my house and the police dept refused to look out for the description and Tag I provided. Only reason the man left and I am alive and safe is because a family member came out and threatened the man with a gun. This department disappointed me greatly. Will be moving counties soon. Unacceptable.
School zone violations are a cash grab. Two citations on the same day, less than an hour and a half apart. Lights were NOT flashing for school zone. They Said 47 mph in a 35. The speed limit is 45 when the lights ARENT flashing. The camera company is based in Chattanooga, TN. Not even a local camera company. Zero children have been hurt at the locations they are tracking so makes zero sense but to take the working citizens of lawrencevilles money.
I live in New York, my mother lives in Lawerenceville and has developed some mental issues during the past 2 years Lawerenceville Police Department has been so ,compassionate and patient handling my mom and very helpful to me getting the help my mom needs. Officer Jacob Baird especially. Not to mention the department social worker AnnaMarie Smith I can’t thank you enough for all you have done and continue to do
The worse police department I ever seen Gwinnett police department is far better Lawrenceville Dept don't care about your health Care or being it's a disgrace to our country to our men and women serve our country and honor to them but Lawrenceville is a very far fetch From that even listening or caring and yelling and lies one officer tells gives the whole department a bad name should of been more attentive to me personally and professionally and caring and passionate and cared about my health could of danger me well he probably did cause since this situation took place I been very sick again and haven't been able to the Court House if he did his job and investigation I wouldn't have to go through this
SEXIST AND UNHELPFUL. The man who picked up the phone immediately, and on numerous occasions interrupted me explaining my situation "MA'AM!" as I tried to speak calmly with him. They aren't interested in helping and have no sense of manners- try to work with another jurisdiction if you can if you need help, because this one is not going to help you.
The police at Lawrenceville Police Department possess the qualities true law enforcement professionals should have: compassion for their profession and people they help and calm composure. They let a young man die, because he had on the wrong clothes. Anyone who shows no respect for human life, is themselves worthless. This department is made up of worthless individuals.
These officers have an amazing passion for their job and work hard to keep the community safe! Wonderful people
