Although there are a variety of buses to choose from here, this is a very dangerous and unsafe location for the General Public. Very little police protection or assistance in trouble. It's sketchy at best!

On Google maps it says that one can get here by foot but that's NOT the right approach. Take the pink shuttle from LAX, it'll drop you off at the City Bus Center. To find the pink shuttle follow signs for 'ground transportation' and look for the pink colored columns outside. The wait time for the shuttle was super short when I was there. Bus came in 1 min. Once arriving at the City Bus Center, check google maps to see which platform your bus will arrive. Make sure you flag down the bus because they tend to just zip past if they don't see anyone. Note that the station has a TAP card machine for people who are new to the city. Buses arrive pretty frequently. I only waited four minutes for mine but maybe I just got lucky. I hope these instructions saves you some $.

LAWA should be embarrassed about how poorly they promote transit ridership to the airport and how difficult they make it for passengers and airport employees to use local bus services. The shuttles that LAWA operates to and from the terminals is unreliable: every 5-10 minutes when it’s good and over 30 minutes when it’s not. I have a flight to catch - and I’m the pilot! Obvious solutions would be having the Economy Lot busses stop as they pass through on their route towards terminals. I often walk the 20 minutes over to T7 because the app shows few or no shuttles coming. The opening of the People Mover can’t come fast enough.

This bus center acts more as a bus stop, and the amenities are limited to bus stop benches with shade with no ticket machines. Most annoyingly, shuttles that connect this bus stop to the LAX terminals rarely come by. I generally end up walking instead. It's about 0.8 mile 18 minute walk to Terminal 1 and 1.2 miles 28 minute walk to Tom Bradley International Terminal.

But if you are coming to Los Angeles from outside area you are able to purchase and fill that Tap Card to use on the buses in Los Angeles County.

Very ugly bus stop, despite serving one of the busiest airports in the world. Not tourist-friendly at all, as there's little information available about fares and how to pay them. Bus driver of the #3 to Santa Monica yelled at me for not having my fare ready. I told her I wasn't from here and she didn't say anything, no apology whatsoever. Also, there's homeless people "living" in this stop. Terrible first impression of the city of Los Angeles.

Just remember last bus leaved at 11:00pm not 24 hours service, even if you call the metro office to ask how often the buses run.... its a lie...... then you download the Lyft app and pay with Apple Pay fingerprint.   I got stuck here Sunday at 11pm and had to walk all the way back to the airport just to get the Super-shuttle.

Buses go through here way to quickly and it is easy to miss your bus.

Has a lot of benches and maps with multiple lines. Also a great spot to catch an Uber/Lyft as the street in front of it can be dangerous to stop on.  Connects with the shuttle bus that goes straight to LAX and stops at every terminal.
