This place has a lot of potential and it does look like they're working on some things but overall we did not enjoy our stay. From the filthy bathrooms, electric and water site without electric, gravel parking spot or a fire ring , mini golf course not kept up at all crass clipping covering the whole course looks like it was that way for a long time, Grass not cut at all in some spots. we went and played at the park with the kids and some of the equipment was not even anchored to the ground, the showers did not work at all over all looked like the years have taken a toll on this camp ground, and some of the seasonal campers as well. I would say it looks more like a trailer park then a camp ground. I did give it two stars as the people here went above and beyond and were supper friendly with us and our two boys. however that being said I would not recommend taking your family here at all.
Our family has been camping here for over 20 years. We absolutely love it. My son just proposed to his girlfriend this weekend at the campground while the whole family was there. He wanted some place that had a lot of good memories. Thank you to the staff for being so nice and welcoming to our guests who also drove up for the day to witness the special event! Highly recommend Lazy Days for a wonderful family outing! Bathroom updates are beautiful. Rental trailers are always clean and comfy! Andy is super helpful with anything you need and the ladies in the office are always extremely friendly.
Lazy Days is a wonderful little treat in Washington County of of HWY A. Boating, camping, little store with practically anything you need. I wanted some quality time with my son, and that was exactly what I needed and more. Perfect getaway just 30 minutes from Port Washington. Definitely check it out for Summer 2022!!
Lazy Days, read the reviews but judge for your self. We stayed labor day weekend. Had a great time on a nice site. Absolutely no issues with our electric or water. Store staff very friendly at time of check in and every other time we needed something Like ice or snacks ect. Yes it older campground yes they have a spot on your site for a fire It's a pit in the ground Who needs a rusty steel ring around it? Yes the mini golf is old and creepy. You are not required to play a round. My one problem is they rent boats and kayaks but do not have a good place to launch the kayaks. Yes I will stay there again Yes I would recommend it as long as your not a snowflake, ect ect.
nice place to camp at .But the toilets were closed and kids were locking each other in the toilet. very nice halloween decoration when coming into the park, clean music was good . will come back again next year .
Absolutely love this hidden gem! We last minute booked a site for Labor Day weekend. Located on the out skorts of West Bend. Very remote with very little cell service, but who needs it camping! The camp store is one of the BEST I've seen and it's just a few miles from Eddy's Lakehouse, should you want to step out for a drink and fun. All around fantabulous! We booked for their upcoming Halloween events!
Our group came to this campground at the last minute for 4th of July weekend, after having issues with our reservation at another campground nearby. We were given sites together in area C. Although there was no shade, we made the best of it. The sites were nicely sized, fairly level and grassy. Even though the fire pits had no rings, we had our own grill to use over them, but rings would be nice for those who don't have their own. The beach was nice. The mini golf course could use a bit more upkeep. The playground could use more picnic tables for parents to use. We didn't use the shower facilities so I can't comment on that. It was nice hearing music provided in the pavilion. The seasonal people we encountered seemed nice. Overall our weekend here was good, and our group decided we would like to return again next year, hoping to get more shady sites. I'm giving 3 stars because of the improvements that are definitely needed.
My family came here for the 1st time last year. I just spent a lot of time reading the reviews which I felt like, most of the negative were unfair and things that the campground cannot control especially if not reported. If you don't speak up how do you expect things to be made right coming from someone whose job is to deal with complaints all day every day? I absolutely love this place and am looking forward to my family trip this weekend. The lake is beautiful and there is plenty to keep my children having a great time for days. The trailers are clean and more than reasonable as far as price. The employees are helpful and if you treat them with respect you will get the same in return. If you are looking for a 5 star RV resort this isnt it.. If you're looking for a fun, laid back, camping experience i highly recommend.
The campground is clean and well maintained, the staff are VERY welcoming & helpful too! The main bathroom/shower facility is kept clean as well, and the main building for check-in has a small "General Store" feel as they carry everything from food/drink and camping supplies to sand/water toys and trinkets/clothing too! Their beach access to the lake was also wonderful with nice shaded areas, though the shade was not very close to the water so the sand was too hot to even walk on. My only issue was all three times we have camped here spanning 20+ years, we have had SERIOUS storms. The last 2 years in a row we had to leave after the 1st night as our tents flooded and this year many were completely destroyed. As this is not camp's fault, I cannot take stars away for acts of God!! Overall they do a wonderful job.....
Not bad. The playground is rusting. The bathroom is was updated but you can tell it's all second hand materials. You have to pay a quarter to take a shower. The mini golf is rundown and should be free. Other then that they have nice sized sites. Didn't have a problem with racoon in the 3 nights we stayed here.
