We're so lucky to have such a great little independent bookstore in LBI! I've been coming to Beach Haven every summer for over 20 years, and I'm so glad that we finally have a book shop right in the center of town! They have a great selection of both used and new books as well as a knowledgeable and friendly staff. I go every year and always look forward to my next visit.
An unexpected, but delightful find. New and used books. Bring 5 books back & get 25% of used books or we 10% of new. Very helpful & patient staff, given that got there a few minutes before closing. Closed the door & worked with us until we had browsed enough. They had a copy of "Surviving Sandy" that we browsed & purchased. Recommended, highly.
I went to this store literally half a dozen times in two days and bought thirteen books. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I could not encourage coming here more. This is my favorite place on the island.
Love this bookstore! Great selection of used books to bring to the beach. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will keep coming back! 7/22 Update: Still a great place to grab a book at the beach. With the closing of the bookstore in Surf City, it may be the only one!
My wife and I went here for our first time about a week ago, and had a delightful experience. The shop is cozy and has a good collection, including of the kids series “who was.” We had a very pleasant and engaging experience with the employee who was there: Sofia-who is an enthusiastic reader, which added to our whole experience. It really was a charming and refreshing place to visit!
Came here for the first time about a week ago. Pretty good selection of used and new books. SUPER nice staff. They have a swap program hence the name where you get a % off of the used and new books. It is located in Schooners Wharf which has decent restaurants and other shops in it. Would def go back.
I LOVE this book store. It always has a great selection of new books, book series, and a ton of great used books. My teens love the manga section downstairs but I usually find my reads in the used section which is nice since I read enough that getting used books helps. The staff are also very nice and helpful.
Nice selection of used books and new books. Prices are higher than other used bookstores where paperbacks are .50¢ but the selection is also better than most other used bookstores i’ve been to. Overall a pleasant shopping experience!

Been coming here every summer and it's such a great little used book shop. Also sells new books. There are multiple floors worth of books. Great if you just want to buy some books to read on the beach or swap out for a new book. Big selection of kids books too!
