LDS Hospital

I can't even begin to express our gratitude to this hospital, most of all, floor 8 west wing. To the incredible nurses and all the cna's, P/T, O/T Maya, Joey, Stephanie, Rosa, Jordan, Nate, etc. who cared for our father. To the amazing doctors, Dr. Pearl & Dr. O'Hara, who literally saved his life. The entire hospital staff is incredible and treated us like family. Our case worker, Denise, was a God send and we can't thank her enough for the hours of work she put in to get our father where he needed to be. THANK YOU is just not enough! God bless you all! LDS hospital Endoscopy department is excellent. Had my first colonoscopy and was very nervous. The staff was kind and helpful and thoroughly explained everything. All of the nurses were amazing and Dr Michael Feurer who did the procedure was exceptionally kind and caring. I appreciated him looking me directly in the eyes as he spoke to me. It’s not often a doctor does that. I forget the anesthesiologist name but he was also awesome and made me laugh as I fell into dreamland.

Just had a mammogram this morning trying to get ahead the breast cancer awareness month. The technician was the kindest. She was very knowledgeable. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant. There is no excuse to not get a mammogram when LDS hospital makes it so easy. Im coming back next year.

This is the worst hospital in entire world. I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment twice in my life, and that’s enough to give he a very clear perspective of what satan really is. First time I was having serious mental health issues suicidal thoughts the whole ball of wax and they were all happy to see me it felt like. Then the UA came back and they rejected me for care because of a hot UA. Second time I came in again traveling through the city of Salt Lake having thoughts of suicide and they turned me down care right away Because of the previous UA when the second time it was clean UA. They even had the balls to go the extra mile and right and convince me the second UA on a separate occasion was dirty without showing the lab results. If you have a history of any type of addiction don’t come to this hospital.

The staff were quick, efficient and very kind during a stressful time. The nurses and doctors did a great job and we were well taken care of.

I had a not so pleasant experience visiting Salt Lake City for the first time but the staff here made me comfortable and took great care of me from the nurse, doctor and the tech. I appreciate the professionalism given and the care. I was in a foreign place miles from home and I felt very safe there. Thank you

Great hospital, first time I’ve been there. I had joint repair surgery, and during my stay I was very impressed with all the staff, everyone had a nice attitude and was very competent. Hospital and staff were very well organized.

My aunt was seen yesterday and was treated terribly. The nurse told my aunt she was busy taking a test for school and completely ignored my aunts questions and she was extremely rude and uninformative and cared more for the computer than her patients. My aunt felt so uncomfortable and uncared for, she left and decided not to stay for care. Definitely DONT reccomend this place.

One would think an LDS hospital would be Godlike and treat others how they would like to be treated, regardless of their PERSONAL feelings about things. What about the OATH they took as healthcare professionals? Professionals my hiney! Wish I could give a negative star rating.

Please do not waste your time coming here. I brought my partner in because he was vomiting blood, detoxing from alcohol, and is suicidal. I understand the ER has a "wait", but when someone is in that severe of a condition, telling us it could be a while is absolutely mind blowing. Y'all do not care for people or your patients. Absolute JOKE!!! The waiting room had maybe 4 or 5 people in it. Y'all have 262 beds. Stop making excuses. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! So disgusted with the nurse on staff, too. You had a bad... absolutely terrible attitude. Find a new profession. Whoever you were on 3/12/2023 @ 10pm. Didn't get your name. Couldn't be bothered because of how disgusting you were acting. You're in the wrong profession to be acting and treating people that way, especially at an LDS hospital. Worst experience. Thanks for nothing.
