"Le Merde is currently online only. We had to close our brick-a-morter in Ballard Aug 2020 due to Covid19 restrictions. The picture is a snap of the old Phinney Ridge location, Le Merde has since relocated to the happening 'hood in Ballard. It's full of funky grandeur, cute clothes, vintage finds and indie designers. The folks who work the counter are the nicest, helpful but not overly so, they are fine letting you shop your heart out. Events showcase music and the arts. It's a great place to feel grand.
Debi is the best! Honestly the sweetest human being, and such a fantastic business owner! Absolutely IN LOVE with the new location and the set up. I love the variety she has to offer, and there’s so much to choose from. Amazing clothes, vintage pieces, art pieces, plants, candles, bags, anything you could possibly want, she has! Le Merde is the place to go. I promise, you won’t be disappointed.
I love the ladies here. I always have a great time browsing through their beautiful collection. Great unique finds at reasonable prices. I was wedding dress shopping one day and after a couple bad experiences at other shops, they made my night. Also, french bulldog Kitty is someone you won't want to miss.
Le Merde is a hidden gem in Seattle. I’ve been to a lot of the local vintage small businesses and this really is unique and a step above. Debi the owner!has an eye for curating unique pieces that work for a wide range of people. I feel like I can both find what I need and discover something new. The location is also on a block that’s quintessential “Seattle” shops, coffee, lovely locals, etc so I was able to have a fun afternoon.
Such a great new addition to Ballard! Great art, clothes, cards, and things you never knew you needed! We always leave Le Merde with something fun! Everyone that works there is very warm and inviting! Go if you haven’t already!
Deb who is the owner, is extremely accommodating and very nice to do business with. Her store is filled with vintage items such as jewelry, some clothing, tea cups, Eiffel towers, small nicknacks and other miscellaneous items. Fun shop! Next door to The Nordic Museum in Ballard.
One of the best vintage shops in Seattle. The owners are amazing, selection on point, prices are fantastic, and the qaulity is unmatched. I have been a native since 1969 and this shop represents Seattle in both style, grace and customer service.
I love this shop! The amazing owner, Debi, only stocks the most interesting and unique stuff - things you definitely won't find everywhere else - and at a range of price points. I really can't say enough good things about it!
This is a TRUE vintage store. Every piece is curated! Kitty is me in k9 form. Arbiters of style!
This is the perfect place to get a gift for the friend who has everything! The prices are very reasonable, which is good because I wanted to buy everything I saw. I'm already planning a return trip!
