Learn Build Fly is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to promoting and encouraging recreational aviation and education through all ages. Members from twelve to eighty have their time, effort, and enthusiasm to bring our project to life.
"Learn Build Fly is a Marathon County, WI non-profit 501c3 organization of dedicated volunteers providing aviation, STEM, and leadership education to youth and families. From weekly aircraft building projects to aviation ground school to engineering and skilled trades courses, anyone with a passion for learning will find a fun, open environment at LBF. Participation is free. Learn Build Fly is located at the Wausau Downtown Airport, with two hangar buildings used as education centers for building homebuilt aircraft, providing leadership and aerospace training, and teaching trades in support of aviation including welding and metalwork, laser design services, machining, CAD design and 3D printing, and small engine diagnostics and repair."
