The restaurant is in an office building, which I kind of liked because it’s out of the way from busier areas. Rice cake appetizer was a little chewier than expected, but great flavor & spice level. With the kimchi & bulgogi hot stone entree, the meat was a little over cooked, but didn’t mind it too much. Good portion sizes. I would come back again, but will try different items from the menu.
Outstanding food. Very quick in and out at lunch time. Very friendly staff. One of the few places I can get Kimbap. It's also nice you can pick the level of spice that you want on the dishes 1-6.Food: 5/5
My hot Stone Bowl was very good! It came with so many more sides than I was expecting. We ordered some egg rolls as appetizers and they were literally the biggest egg rolls i've ever seen. The service was super friendly. I wish I remembered take a picture before I mixed it all up because it looked so appealing with the egg on top. You wouldn't think to look here for a restaurant but here it is at the bottom of an office building off Newburg rd. Nice authentic Korean meals that hit the spot!
The most amazing experience the food was exceptional the service just as well.If you want authentic Korean food at its finest this is the place, very clean great atmosphere THANK YOU LEE'S
Ordered hot stone bowl bulgogi Kimchi over rice. Beef was tender and the spiciness was exactly what I expected. The wife ordered shrimp with steamed vegetables and rice. She liked hers as well. It came with cold sides photographed here. Tofu, peanuts, cucumber, bean sprouts, potatoes, and radish kimchi I think also had an order of veggie egg rolls. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. Not a ton of seating. The only knock on it is when they roll the carts out and the wheels vibrate loudly as it goes by. Overall awesome place will go again.
Love their Beef Bulgogi! Also their side dishes are amazing. Always have great service and wonderful food! My favorite place to get my bulgogi.
If Lee's let me live in the back room I would do it. This place was incredible. Location is a little random and weird but once you get inside it's cozy. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. Food was astounding. Tteokboki was amazing. Sake wasn't expensive but tasted like it was. I cannot wait to go back.
First time trying Korean food! EVERYTHING was amazing! Our server was the sweetest, she was very welcoming and attentive, the food was extremely flavorful and delicious! My favorite thing was how healthy it felt, especially with all the flavor! I didn’t feel bloated or overstuffed after eating! I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the amazing service and experience tonight!
The kimchi here does not taste homemade at all, the side dishes all tasted like they were plopped out of a commercially sold jar or can. It was very upsetting as we were recommended this place to get our Korean cuisine cravings fixed; unfortunately it did not meet our expectations at all. : the Jajangmyeon tasted too salty and we couldn’t taste the beans in the black bean paste, while the kimchi soup we got was very diluted and not flavourful. It was a very lacklustre experience. On the bright side, the servers lady and her son? were both quite friendly and the elderly lady was busy and thoroughly cleaning the tables after the exit of each patron. The place was clean, hygienic and has a welcoming ambience. However, we would highly recommend the Korean cuisine offered at Kum’s Cafe on Poplar level Rd over this place.
Hard to beat the value and variety of Lee’s. The menu has lots of options that I haven’t seen at other Korean restaurants in town. I loved the included side dishes banchan, the radish kimchi was my favorite. Portions are GENEROUS. It was a bit difficult to find but well worth it. I plan to come back regularly to explore more of the menu!
