I only share these stars for one officer in particular Unfortunately in the past I haven't had a great experience with Leesburg pd, BUT Officer B. Pepper! Deserves a raise! Wonderful person, Very nice officer, talks to you and treats you like a person! And that's the most important thing!!
I manage a hotel in the area and occasionally find the need to call the Leesburg Police Deaprtment. Today, was one of those days. Officer Dominic came to the property to assist with a situation and went above and beyond. A total Rock Star! As always, we appreciate our local law enforcemnt and all they do. Keep up the great work!
Last evening I had the unfortunate experience to be involved in a hit and run while stopped at the traffic light on Main St near 27 in Leesburg . I called 911 and was assisted by 2 Leesburg Police Officers...at the moment I do not recall names...however they both provided exceptional assistance. Your officers confidently took a tense situation and provided me with the comfort of knowing I was in very good professional hands. I am a NJ/FL Snowbird and this was my third encounter requiring assistance from a Leesburg Officer, Leesburg Police Dept. You are 3 for 3. I just want to thank an officer in the Leesburg police department . I did not get her last name . But officer Melissa hope I spelled it right went above and beyond her duty . I knew if I called on the Blue Line they would be helpful . Officer Melissa works in communication department . To her Supervisor I give this officer my thanks that I can far away . She was Great . They suck. They refuse to go by the law when it suits them. I've never been arrested there but have needed them. And they break their own laws. Because some don't want to deal with the paper work or its shift change and they do their job the easiest and fastest way possible. Instead of doing what they have been sworn in to do they find loop holes to get you out of their faces. They lie and say they have looked into things and never did.
The police really care about the comunity, and I feel like I can go with then in any problem in the community, and they are always willing to help!
I have volunteered to work alongside the police officers as a C.O.P. for 10 years now. Love it.
Very caring officers who are dedicated in their efforts to keep the community safe.
