This company has 0 compassion. Working out financial arrangements for my father going into a nursing home. The Legacy representative approved a monthly deduction for his life insurance payment. I was working with the same representative throughout the process. After multiple confirmations and months of the arrangement being approved the same representative from legacy stopped allowing the payment without any notification causing a lapse in the life insurance policy that my father paid YEARS into. Once confronted the representative claimed there was no such arrangement dispite the several emails about the payment on the life insurance policy being approved. Representative was smug, arrogant, and lacked any empathy. I could not get intouch with upper management despite leaving voicemails. This representative works with the Adventera nursing home in Chicago Ridge. So beware.

Lieberman Center of Legacy of Skokie, IL — My experience was literally life-threatening because: 1 they were not adhering to the basic Safety Protocol for COVID-19 . 2 they depend on substitute Agency nursing personnel for 50% of their Nursing Care workers 3. they pay the substitutes more than they pay their full-time employees. Their full-time employees have served for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years yet still are paid less per hour than the substitute agency staff. Their full-timers are to be applauded for their professional, compassionate, and devoted care-giving. 4. No Medical Physicians are available on weekends nor available before and after the regular 9am-5pm Monday through Friday shift hours. Thus, when a patient or resident needs the attention of an M.D., during the “off” hours, the Nursing Supervisor phones 911 for an ambulance to transport the patient to the Skokie Hospital Emergency Room which is adjacent to the Lieberman Center. Most often patients return 8 hours later. Patients or their Insurance Carriers pay for the two ambulance transports and the Emergency Room Expenses. 5. The Nursing Staff is maintained on a very low ratio of R.N. per Patient, for example one R.N. for 40 patients with the assistance of only two C.N.A. during the Third Shift overnight 11:00 pm til 7:00 am. Thus, when emergency attention is needed for one patient, the other 39 patients are cared for by only one C.N A. 6. Supplies are maintained at very low levels. Often basic essentials, such as toilet tissues, toiletries, kleenex, towels, garbage bags, etc. are unavailable. 7. The food service is nutritional thanks to the great work of the Council of Jewish Elderly’s excellent group of Rabbis and Associates. Luckily, they remain despite the CJE sale of their Lieberman Center to the Legacy Health Management Company formerly known as the Legacy Financial Services.

You can never get a hold with anyone from corporate. When you call they only allow you to leave a message, I have left three over past two weeks. I am calling in regards to a rmfs account and funds not transferred.

The Chalet is the worst place ever after one day I'm going to leave!!!!!!
