The gym has all the necessary equipment to get a great work out. It is well maintained and quiet. They offer a wide variety of instructor led courses as well. The pool and spa area are incredible for children 1-12. There is not a lot of free swim area for teens and adults. The hot tub is large and overlooks both pools.
Had my son's 8th birthday party at the indoor aquatic center and it was amazing! The party itself was during open swim time so other people can be in the area at the same time as your party but there was only a few people there at 10:00 a.m. when we started swimming. We got water guns for all of the party guests to play with and the boys had an absolute blast! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pizzas were delivered on time and were hot, the cupcakes were delicious, the juice was cold. It was an absolute wonderful experience. Even the lifeguards were friendly and outgoing with the children! There is one water slide if you are tall enough 48" I believe? The splash pad area is shallow and mostly for smaller kids but the seven and eight-year-old boys didn't seem to mind at all especially because they had their water guns. There is a mini lazy river but INTERTUBES ARE NOT ALLOWED. This was the only thing that was frustrating, as I called and asked beforehand and was told yes. Turns out it was incorrect and was a new employee. There is a bigger lap pool but even it is mostly shallow with the deepest part getting to not even six foot.
I just had to join! The facilities are up to date and nice. I use the pool to help strengthen my back. The staff members are helpful and knowledgeable. Plus, they are warm and wonderful.
Went for water aerobics. First time there and I love this place! Very clean and welcoming. Super friendly and helpful staff, lots of activities!
I dig this place, and recently rejoined after several years away. My favorite thing is the indoor track, which is a bit rare around here and is really the reason I joined. Staff is fantastic and friendly, place is always spotless and maintained properly. I tend to lift at my other gym, but the equipment here is fine with machines and free weights. The Smith Machine is nice to have. The pool looks like a sweet place to take kids. It gets busy upstairs in the workout area, but not insane. I should take a star away since this place FIRED ME back in like 2004! And I was definitely sick and certainly not faking it to go to the Chiefs playoff game keep up the good work
Fantastic walking trails, don't know about the actual community center, but I park here to go walking. A complete joy.
We love the pool amenities , the family-friendly changing rooms, and the friendly staff. I also like that, as a new member, I can receive a personal tour and coaching of the weight and cardio room. the personal trainer was friendly and professional. He helped me with a starting a cardio and weight routine that reflected my personal fitness goals.
Son had a blast swimming all day. Definitely will be back
Great for the pool! Some of the fitness instructors are out all the time now because they don't wear masks and of course therefore have covid. Its kind of ironic. Health and wellness, without the health or wellness effort.
Chlorine smell was STRONG and no doors open or even a decent ventilation system in the swimming area. But it was still fun for the kids.
