Only had good experiences here in the past but today is what made me come on here to leave the one star. Just wanted to play nine holes and was instantly told that it was impossible and that the golf course was all booked up, my only option would be the driving range. As I proceeded to ask about playing 18 Dave the guy in the pro shop yelled at us incredulously about no spectators, how we’d have to rent an extra set of clubs and so on. All of which we would have been happy to do if we weren’t being yelled at. Hope Dave learns how to treat people with a little decency‍.

I live very close by and golf here all the time. I love the course, they keep it in great condition, but treatment from the pro shop staff is what makes this a one star review, specifically Dave in the pro shop. I came in wondering if we could get in for an evening 9 holes and was met with a very rude encounter and told I can only go on the driving range. I asked why and he was even more rude. Then I asked why we can’t get on for 18 and he said we’ll do you want to pay for that!?The whole encounter was weird and maybe Dave was having a terrible day and wanted to take it out on someone younger. However treatment of customers is a huge part of running a successful golf course.

I myself only drove the carts and handled their drinksBut it’s like it was growing up in Diamond Bar… and as a kid, it was a “given” that this is where the grown-ups played. I am a seeker of Sunsets , this is right in my back yard, so there’s always quite a view

My best friend coordinated a wedding here this past Saturday. The hospitality was outstanding. Two thumbs up to Andrea who provided A+ service all the way.

Fun round. Challenging course, but well maintained. Breakfast sandwich was on point.

Course is in good shape. Some tight holes and a few have a silly design that makes it less enjoyable than it could be. Staff is strict but friendly.

Looks like they are fixing huge sprinkler problems from prior ownership neglect... looks like they are focusing on fairways first then they might get to the rough? Noticed 17 fairway has almost complete coverage. Hole 7 too. These are two holes that used to be thin-- but recently even with 100 plus temperatures the last two months there is a lot more consistent coverage. Greens are running pure all the same across whole green/course but on a speed scale, slower. Again, I think my best guess they have to keep them moist because of the super hot last couple months. If a "green" is supposed to be green, they nailed it! As the temperatures cool, it is likely fairways will get more coverage. Bunkers are "neglected" right now because there are no rakes COVID -- but even so, those who play here often will notice more sand has been added to a select few/popular traps for example, hole 11 green side bunkers. I would recommend moving your ball for a good lie in the bunker or taking it out all together. Tee boxes are about 70% depending on where you are playing. Even though the course is on the shorter side, try playing up one tee box than you normally would. You will enjoy the course a lot more. Plus, I feel like the gold tee boxes have the worst coverage. Collars around green are beginning to match up with the line of palm trees that surround the green. They used to be about 3ft wife, but now 20-30 ft! Speeds up play and allows for more up and downs. This is getting long-- but this course never gets old. Every hole is different than the next. Look for the palm trees if you can't see the green. They surround all 18 holes.

Greens, fairways and tee boxes are in great shape and consistently maintained. Pace is good - we almost never have a slow round. Several holes with water or sand or challenging tiers. We play this course 40 times each year and it never gets stale. Not crazy expensive, either.

First time we played this course and it was worth the long drive from Orange County.

I came here for my birthday and it was not worth the money. People were rude and disrespectful and the staff let us get yelled at for 20 min by a rude couple. Took us 3 hours to do 9 holes because the same couple went 20 min before their Tee time and rudely went ahead without even asking and the staff did nothing about it. I didn’t even get to finish the other 9 holes. If you are looking for a fun or competitive game go somewhere else.
