We love FKN Bread!! Yes a slice of sourdough with banana PB and honey is definitely easy to make at home BUT on FKN sourdough bread it’s an even yummier treat. The Italian sandwich is also the bomb. We decided to take home pizza dough that’s ready to go and comes with very easy instructions… our homemade pizza was delicious
Stopped inside for my first visit here. I saw a lot of people nearby walking around carrying their bread bags, and thought it should be good… Ordered the cranberry walnut sourdough bread. The bread tastes delicious! Amazing! This is a cute little shop in the heart of downtown San Juan Capistrano.
1st time here today. Thought I would stop in and give them a try... And BOY oh BOY!! Glad I did. Let me tell you... I hate cinnamon rolls.. but as much as I do, I always give them a try once n awhile.. I LOVED THEIRS!!! I would order it again!!! I ordered a pumpkin muffin, chocolate chip cookie, scone and loved all of them!! Then I ordered an Italian parmesan bread loaf and their cranberry walnut loaf, and I enjoyed those too! Oh yeah, ordered the "Dream Bar", that was super sweet for me but it was GOOD!!!! If your a diabetic, don't order that one for sure.. Give them a try people!!
By far the best bakery around! We've tried their bread, muffins, scones, biscuits, pound cake, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and more and loved everything! Their sandwiches are delicious too! You'll want to try the sourdough bread first! Our favorites are rosemary garlic, everything, seeded, and you can't go wrong with the classic.
Decent sourdough. Usually burnt on bottom. A little pricey and not much sour in the sour dough. More of tourist attraction bakery. Thinking it might not sell as well up against some amazing bakeries at much less a loaf in Los Angeles areas
Darn -- got there too late in the afternoon for the fresh bread. SOLD OUT. Did make it in time for our great sandwiches and croissants. So nice to be able to get fresh made sandwiches and delicious pastries in San Juan.
Best croissants I’ve ever had, fluffy and buttery and just a little sweet when you chew on it. Sourdough bagel was delicious too!!
Suspicious. Many 5 star reviews here where the reviewer has only written 1 review. Got the cranberry and “walnut” bread had what? Less than 10 pieces of walnuts in the ENTIRE loaf? And their rubbery bread was 12.00 without tax. Not worth the hype. Skip.
Was looking for more of a small snack place instead of a resturaunt when I came down here. The girl at the front was super nice even when I asked a really dumb question about the rootbeer being alcoholic. Really nice, efficient people, I wish I could've tipped more. The only *complaint* I have is that there was alot of salt on my choclate croissant. Maybe I'm just sensitive, or maybe they added to much salt by accident. The dark choclate inside was REALLY good. I dont think that's enough to dock a star. This is a one time instance, and my personal tastes arent the true definition of what's good. I'll probably have to try it again on another day, but overall it was great
Delicious bread! Also the almond croissant is so good. We have bought her three times and always happy with our bread. Will continue to try new loaves. Continue the good work!
