The purpose of the Lehman Health Promoters Club is to provide primary prevention efforts to help others make healthier choices by providing information, challenging incorrect attitudes, confronting unhealthy behaviors, and referring students to professional help.
In collaboration with Lehman College's Wellness Program, our goal is to create a shared space where students who are interested in promoting and living healthy lifestyles can come together for the good of their fellow peers.
We provide education and information to the LHP students in the areas of health and health promotion.
We also create programming opportunities to benefit the general Lehman College Community and provide advisement and guidance for our LHP members.
