The Lemoore Police Department is charged with the protection of life and property and the primary responsibility for crime prevention and suppression. The Department maintains good relations with the public, investigates traffic accidents, crimes, and violations of City, State and Federal laws.

Tried to get animal control/police to come get two friendly dogs with collars trapped in the city skatepark. Female officer showed up for 30 seconds said she couldn’t do anything and left. Super helpful.
I have called several times about neighbor's dogs, three of them, constantly roaming our street, making their 'messes' in my yard, the other day, one was one digging in my lawn!!! Have talked to the neighbor.. does no good, dogs still roam free! They go onto everybodys yard and bark at the owners, Sometimes the dog owners come out and get their dogs, no apologies.. nothing Other neighbors have called animal control too.. does no good! When someone walks or rides a bike down our street they are barked at and followed by these dogs!!! Calling animal control is worthless!!!
Frustrated, called police dept. At 10:45pm to report neighbors 3 schnauzers & German shepherd out in the cul de sac barking. Their gate must be open can't see too dark. When I attempted to walk toward the house to let the neighbor know, the German Shepherd charged me, so I retreated. I think he was protecting the Schnauzers cause they were barking at me like crazy. I called police an hour later, dogs are still in the street barking & I heard a loud boom coming ftom the house, possibly a gun shot. It's been 2.5 hours since my first call. It's 12:30am and I can't stand outside any longer waiting for the police. I don't think they are coming. Also troubling is how could this neighbor not hear the constant barking? I know they are home, I saw their lights go out the first time I called the police & their car is in the driveway.
Called about a dog that was hit by a car in my neighborhood, the officer Ray arrived in less then 10 min and took the pup to a vet nearby and even called me back and gave me an update. We do not know the owner so I’m thinking thats a pretty darn good response and I’m very happy with the outcome!
I pull up to the fast trip in lemoore on 20DEC17 at 2:00 pm, after purchasing my item I walked outside to my car and when I step off the curb out of no where a car comes inches from hitting me pulling up to parking spot like a bat out of hell. I said what in the world and look further at the vechicle and it's Lemoore PD. Shocked still processing what happen I get in my car and Mr. TOO COOL gets out the car with some woman dressed in civilian attire with her nose all up in the air. I'm looking like! I didn't think protecting and serving was intimidating pedestrians to show off your badge to some superficial woman that needs to go on a ride-along to boost her self-esteem. To the officer that did that when you read this humble yourself please.
Quick response to any call i have ever made,polite,curtious,professional,and prompt. Its one of the safest cities ive ever lived in...no graffiti anywhere...they must be doing a good job,cause i dont know of any other town that can say that. Keep up the good job!
The cuffs were a little tight, and the seats were very uncomfortable however the officers were very gentle while applying the cuffs. Overall a decent experience, will definitely get arrested again for sure
Wouldn't cite an owner of a vicious dog because the owners mom worked for city of Lemoore. Dog was finally able to kill my cat on my property...still nothing done
I went in to make a report and was dismissed like nothing I said mattered or was important.
I called couple times to animal control to rescue a cat but no response.
