The dog park was great. So much space and we had it all to ourselves today. Per usual, the park was divided up into small dog <25 lbs and large dog >25 lbs sections. Each has a clean water source and a few dog bowls laying around. Small dog section had agility obstacles like a tunnel, the weaving poles, and a tabletop/platform. Plenty of trees for shade and a couple benches with shade for humans. We will definitely be going back. Dog-friendliness: Dog park rocks! It's way in the back.
Great little find fit our 2 pups. One side is for large dogs and the other for small. We got to meet and play with 5 other pups and was Great way to start our 2 out!
Great pavilions, playground and boat launch. We enjoyed kayaks even in November. Boat ramp is slippery so use caution near water. We had one party fall in the water from ramp and get soaked.
Very clean clean bathroom facilities, gazebo , Big play grounds for kids, sandbox , swings , slides vending machine for drinks. BEAUTIFUL VIEW PERFECT SPOT FOR A FAMILY PICNIC easy access from highway wheel chair accessible
Great Park not too crowded right by the water wonderful weather
Really a nice little park. It has multiple boat docks. A fishing pier. Multiple pavilions. Parking is available in multiple spots in the park. There are children's play areas with jungle gym type of equipment, as well as restrooms. I love this little park. There are even food dispensers to feed the many ducks, geese and swans in the park. Stones throw to the power plant/dam. Playground: Saw a small set of play equipment for children. Not sure what exactly is available though.
Went during the week and it was quiet and peaceful with a handful of other people around. There's a big dog park, playground, a volleyball court, and disc golf. There was a walking path a dock, and a few places where you could launch a kayak. $.25 will get you a handful of pellets to feed the ducks, geese, and swan.
Love the disc golf course. Except that dang pond lol! Such a pretty Park! Playground: Always clean and pretty Dog-friendliness: I love taking my dog she loves it too!;;
1. Go Fish This park is located on the Fort Loudon Dam and Marina. There’s a special fishing pier available where you can cast your line and try your luck. When you’re ready for a break from the weather, there are seven picnic shelters to choose from. 2. Get Active on the Court There are two tennis courts available for your enjoyment. Great park. Awesome views of the lake and dam. Very wide open spaces with plenty of field for the kids to play. Clean and well maintained, this park is a great stop for a quick picnic or rest. The playground was a highlight for the boys to entertain and the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking for anyone visiting.
