I want to share my disappointing experience with LensCrafters regarding a pair of Parada glasses that I purchased less than a year ago. Unfortunately, the paint on the frame began to peel off in various locations, indicating either a subpar product or possibly even a fake. When I approached LensCrafters for repair or assistance, I was informed that their return policy only allows for 30 days of coverage for frame issues. This experience has left me dissatisfied with their products and service, and I am hesitant to recommend purchasing designer frames from them, as they are often more expensive than online alternatives, with no guarantee of authenticity. Main Points: 1- Faulty Frame and Paint Peeling: After purchasing a pair of Parada glasses from LensCrafters, I encountered the issue of the paint on the frame peeling off in different locations. This is a clear indication of poor quality or potentially counterfeit merchandise. As a customer, it is disheartening to invest in a high-end brand and experience such defects within a short period of time. 2- Upon contacting LensCrafters seeking assistance with the faulty glasses, I was informed that their return policy only covers frame issues for a 30-day period. This restrictive policy does not adequately address long-term product defects or provide customers with sufficient peace of mind. It is important for eyewear providers to stand behind their products and offer reasonable resolutions for such issues. 3- Uncertainty in Authenticity: One of the reasons why I am now skeptical of purchasing designer frames from LensCrafters is the lack of assurance regarding authenticity. Their prices for these frames are typically higher compared to online alternatives. However, there is no guarantee that LensCrafters is selling genuine products. This uncertainty further undermines confidence in their offerings and discourages potential customers from making purchases. 4- The proposed solution from LensCrafters, suggesting that I purchase a new frame at full price and have my lenses transferred to the new frame, is an inadequate resolution for the problem at hand. This approach not only imposes an additional cost burden on the customer but fails to address the underlying issue of the faulty glasses provided by LensCrafters. My experience with LensCrafters regarding the faulty Parada glasses and their limited return policy has left me deeply dissatisfied as a customer. The paint peeling off the frame indicates a poor-quality product, and the lack of assistance beyond the initial 30-day period raises concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the uncertainty surrounding the authenticity of their designer frames and the unsatisfactory proposed solution further contribute to my decision to avoid purchasing from LensCrafters in the future.
I scheduled an eye exam and intended to purchase new frames. This was my first visit to Lens Crafters. I have been a loyal customer of one of their competitors but decided to give them a try by recommendation. I was delighted with everything, including the staff. You're acknowledged as soon as you come in. Everyone was amicable and very knowledgeable about the products. Eric explained the pre-examination test step by step and what each test was for. Dr. Lee was great, and she took her time, asked questions, and explained every step of the way. I selected a pair of frames before sitting with Faith. She selected another pair that fit my face much better, and I fell in love with them. She definitely knows the products and what may be best for the customer. Overall the team there is fantastic. I will be back at this location for my next exam.
They were so amazing Nelson, Faith, and Vinny were very very accommodating. Usually Eye stores can’t get you same day glasses but they were able to do that for me! I’m so very thankful to the Team at Lens Crafters at Pg mall. Please go they were all so amazing.
I purchased new lenses to be placed in an old frame that had crystals. I was informed that they couldn't replace my frames if they were broken since I did not purchase them from LensCrafters. When I went to pick up my frames a week later, they were missing crystals. I asked if they retained the crystals as they could easily be put back in. They informed me that they didn't notice the missing crystals and did not have them. I am unsure how they did not notice they damaged my frames as I noticed immediately. The lab technician told me that he only inspects the back of the frame and not the front. Such careless work! I wouldn't return to this location or any LensCrafters due to this. I have taken the same pair of frames to other optometrists and recieved better care. I wouldn't recommend this location especially if you are bringing in your own frames for new lenses, very poor workmanship.
Prior to going in spoke with Vinnie over the phone and she was very helpful. Went in the next day and Faith waited on me. She was very knowledgeable, explained everything and made suggestions based on my prescription lens. I had trouble finding an eye place to fill my prescription for glasses filled. She looked into it and double checked before reassuring me they would be able to fill it. I really was totally pleased with Faith, Vinnie and other staff.
Excellent service from the optometrist and the associates. Everyone was extremely clear and patient explaining the process of ordering new contacts, lenses, and frames, and how this will work with my insurance. The eye exam felt thorough and none of the sales associates were pushy. I have not order my frames yet but will be returning to do so shortly. I highly recommend this location, and my experience was much better than at a competitor chain.
I did not get my eye exam done here but rather came to this location after dissatisfaction with the Bowie store. The customer service provided here was stellar. Upon entry into the store, the associates made us feel welcomed. They listen to our concerns and ensured that we did not leave until we felt the issue was corrected. They went above and beyond providing stellar customer service. I also appreciated seeing how the staff helped one another and the manager, Dawn is definitely a the type of manager that ensures customers feel heard and taken care of. Major shouts out to Dawn and Vinny. We will always come to this location for our eye care needs.
Nice size store and very clean. I went during a week day, late morning. Store associate Neveah helped me with my eye glasses frame and checked my vision plan and made suggestions of the best way to go, which since I used my eye plan this year, I used the discounts Lens Crafters was offering. I used to have my eye exams and used Lens Crafters when they were in another part of the Mall at Prince Georges years ago. Neveah is such a gem!
Faith provided courteous, expert, and professional service. I don’t know how she juggled so many competing tasks while giving me her full attention and great service. She made a very challenging job look easy! Thank you for a great experience.
The staff was great. There were only 3 people working but they made sure no one was ignored. Dawn the store manager were helping multiple people but was still maintaining her professionalism and friendliness. Faith was great at communicating and letting me that haven’t forgotten about me. I didn’t get the gentleman ‘s name but he was friendly as well while he was working with my son. This is the second time I have used Lens Crafters and has not been disappointed.
