Leo's Coney Island - Waterford

We had lunch here today. While they were busy, there was adequate staff, and our service was less than average. I was served my meal on a plate with a large gouge/chip on the side should have been in the trash. My son ordered chili cheese fries, they arrived plain no big deal, right?. I politely mentioned that he asked for chili cheese fries, and we were brought a plate with bowls of chili, and cheese. I was so dumbfounded, I didn't bother to say anything to the waitress figured it was pointless, since they obviously thought this was OK. We were never checked on. I had to ask another waitress to find our waitress so we could get drink refills and the bill. I'm upset that I left a tip, because it definitely wasn't earned, but I'm not that type of person. Very disappointed. EDIT: As I was going through my receipts, I noticed that they also charged me TWICE for the chili/cheese. I wish I could have given this place zero stars. I've attached a photo of that, as well.

Nice little cafe with good homestyle cooking. Food was cooked to order and with a pleasing presentation. The best part is the food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was curtious and attended to us several times during our visit. The place looked clean and well maintained. It's seems the local police in the area frequent this establishment for their good food and friendly atmosphere as there were several eating there. I highly recommend eating here if you love homestyle cooking and enjoy a relaxing family atmosphere.

I go to Leo’s of white Lake quite often when I’m in town..I look for my favorite waitress, Krystal Boerner . She’s always greets me with a smile and a greeting. She is always making sure all her customers are taken care of. The food is delicious. I especially enjoy the Gyros and Greek Salad .Delicious

Use to be top notch but after Covid years the portions have shrunk and the prices have gone up considerably. I like the venue, and I hoping that they will come around and get back to serving big value meals- This is a review for both take out and dine in

I've been here a few times. Waitress was great, food is delicious. Everything is cooked well here. I absolutely love coming to this particular Leo's.Food: 5/5

4 year anniversary of Mother's Day 2018 DISCRIMINATION! I WILL NEVER FORGET!! Mother's Day was destroyed by Leo's staff ignoring me & my daughter, refusing to serve us. We sat for an hour and watch everyone else get served. The staff scuffed at us when we complained. At 1st they refuse to give owner's name. An official complaint was filed with corporate headquarters. Owner NEVER contacted me. He lied in 2019 1 yr anniversary of incident. Trying to say incident didn't happen. STILL to this day....NO apologies. Well what do you expect from a person who allows customer discrimination. PUBLIC NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT Leo's coney in Waterford. He has a location in White Lake also. Discrimination is his practice !! NEVER FORGET !!

This is the second time I ordered a chef salad to go. The first time, the lettuce was so wet that by the time I got home 35 minutes, the water on the lettuce had turned the cheese into a milky mess. It could not be saved it had to be thrown away. 2 days ago, I thought I would give them another try. I asked that they please drain the lettuce throughly. I checked the bottom of the container before I left. There was no water sitting in the bottom. By the time I got home, water had settled in the bottom and started to dissolve all the cheese. I DO appreciate the fact that lettuce is washed, but please drain it. I've spent $26 on 2 salads and was only able to eat about a ¼ of one. Because of wilt and dissolving cheese

Good was good. Super fast service, but our waitress never came back to check on us.

I like Leo's food and the wait staff!! Our waitress Krystal Boerner was so pleasant and got our food to the table still hot!! The wing dings are a favorite of mine...That time we were eating the fried fish.. delicious!! Fried fish not hard or greasy...we will definitely visit Leo's again soon....
