On September 22, 1973, Leo and Susie Headrick purchased the Green Top, and since then, the Headrick family has been committed to serving the residents of Alabama great BBQ. With real hickory smoked meat, fresh ingredients, ice cold tea, and a great atmosphere, there's a reason that people come from all over the country for a Green Top BBQ sandwich.
Now with two locations to serve you, the original on old Highway 78 between Jasper and Birmingham, and the new Jasper location in the intersection of Highways 5 and 195. Green Top is a true, local, family run business devoted to its amazing customers.
