Leon's Beauty School's mission is to educate our students in marketable cosmetology arts and sciences skills to enable graduates to pass the state license exam in order to be eligible for entry level employment.

Leon's offers courses in cosmetology and esthetics. Financial aid is available for those students who qualify. The school also offers cosmetology, esthetic and manicuring teacher training. The manicuring course is not available at this time.

Leon's Beauty School offers cosmetology and esthetician services to the public. All services are performed by students under the close supervision of Leon's Beauty School instructors.

I and my family have been going to Leon's Beauty School as customers for years. Always a great visit. The very knowledgeable instructors oversee the entire process and it always has a beautiful ending.

I have been coming to Leon’s Beauty school for nearly 20 years. The professional staff of teachers, Ms B, Mr Roberts and everyone else have always shown the greatest respect to caring for my hair and professionalism when demonstrating techniques to their students. Regardless of what style I have ever wanted, the students under their teacher’s directions have been able to exceed my expectations. Recently I moved from the Piedmont to the Crystal Coast of NC but I come back to Leon’s for my hair care needs. I simply find their expertise with hair care the best !!!

The last two times I’ve came here I got the lash lift and tint and you couldn’t tell anything was even done. Huge waist of money. Products don’t work at all. Neither does the brow tint.

They did a awesome job on my daughter's hair! She will be coming back to you ladies again....  Well worth it!

NAV was truly amazing like I was total inlove with the outcome of the perm she provided and I am super thankful The awesome service she provided me and she was super friendly and I didn’t even leave the building and got compliments on my hair like that’s such a awesome confidence boost and I wouldn’t have gotten that confidence boost if it wasn’t for the great outcome of the perm she provided. I definitely Recommend her and when she goes To a shop I will definitely be a client of hers. Thanks again nav!!!!!!!!

Love this school!  It is so much more than hair! Get facials and makeovers as well. Love their customer service too! Everyone there is super nice!  I visited the school yesterday 4/9/21and left very disappointed in my hair service. I wanted a temporary dye but they did not have the color instead of telling me and letting me go elsewhere, they put a spray in my hair which is now on my boyfriend's cream colored seats and my white pillowcases. I am washing it out today. The student understood this would happen and was against it, I do not think her instructors did and that is an issue in itself. I did not have to pay but walked out looking like I walked in. I want very disappointed to say the least. P.S. I will go back for facials and things like that but hair, No! I am taking 4 stars for this.

I was at Leon's this afternoon for a very relaxing facial.  Eryn was very professional and the atmosphere was great!!

Sarah H gave me a great, cut, color and style today.  Will definitely be going to Sarah again.

I went to school here for cosmetology. Over all I’m happy with my choice of going her. Mrs. Bonnie was very caring and a loving instructor. She helped me greatly while I was there. However I felt my experience in basics was less than great because of my instructor Mr. Steve he was vile to say the least. He had a very condescending and patronizing attitude. I’ve never in my life seen someone have a total lack of professionalism then what he displayed. However if you can over look him then you should be fine. I don’t feel he’s fit to be an instructor by any means.
