About Me...
Leslie Arakelian Photography began in 2012 after I married my best friend, however my photography experience spans back to 2006. Since that point I have gained valuable experience that helps me continue to grow as a photographer and offer each client the benefits of my lessons learned.
I classify my style as: photo journalism. What this means to you is that I pay a lot of attention to detail and what the client considers ‘news worthy’ to capture images that fluently portray the story of your wedding, event, or portrait experience.
To Brides & Grooms:
This is your big day with your closest family and friends, but your photographer will be by your side for most of the day. Therefore, you should make sure you are comfortable with your photographer, who in my experience tends to wear many hats, such as wedding day coordinator, emergency wardrobe engineer, and maybe most important a friend/therapist to get everyone through the wonderful (though stressful) day with as many happy memories as possible.
It is my goal as well as my assistant’s goal to wear these hats and others to make your experience the best we can offer and offset any challenges that are within our control! We take personal pride in our work and also understand that weddings are fluid and organic thing and as such we quickly adapt to our environments and follow the action of the day to tell the full wedding story.
To Senior clients:
While senior photograph sessions seem to be more of a priority to parents than many juniors/seniors I meet, in hindsight, I feel they often appreciate the experience and the fun memories of high school these types of photos bring back. This is a wonderful time to memorialize accomplishments made whether it be in sports, the arts, or other hobbies.
I strive to get to know each senior prior to their session in order to gain their trust and learn more about their personalities and what they (not only the parents) want to get out of their photos and make it a fun experience for everyone!
