I have found that it is easiest to study, learn, remember and teach those things that we most enjoy. It is those enjoyable things that I have built my businesses around. Love of music, travel and yoga. I would love to share these favorite things with you!
I have been teaching piano lessons since the mid 70s, first teaching for my teacher in Moab, UT. Now I teach in my own Studio and still LOVE it!!
The most recent of my trio of "Leslie at Lotus Place" businesses is Lotus Travel Deals. Born from my love of travel and an attempt to check a visit to Mayans ruins off my bucket list. The trip was less than hoped for and more expensive than it needed to be. So I decided to do a better job of it myself; and I am! As I have traveled this path, I have found a need for a way for single travelers to find roommates and travel buddies; so I started Loveland Travel Club. My club meets three times a month, twice for lunch on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month and once for a Travel Yoga Evening the third Wednesday evening, 7p.m., of each month.
I have earned my Basic Certification and Masters Certification in Hatha Yoga Instruction. I teach 9 a.m., midday and 7p.m. in my Studio at 2833 Lotus Place in Loveland. I like to keep the classes smaller so we can focus on each student's needs better and more comfortably converse.
