Most bracelets are composed of 100 1 inch safety pins. If seed beads are used...and you were in a counting mood...you would find there were more than 1000 of them. Sometimes I make them big and chunky styled where there are only 50. All the bracelets are surprisingly comfortable! I keep a book of graph paper handy and have done them with initials, words and designs. These take some serious time and patience, but I have it!
Each pin gets lots of attention! After they are beaded, they get either cinched, or glued so they won't come undone. Then they get strung onto two long pieces of thick guaged stretch cord. After the stringing, the ends get triple knotted, then the knot gets glued.
