The place has pretty good patio as well as inside dining place. The food was decent, loved the tacos a lot the cilantro aioli was super super good, however the sandwich was pretty bland and average. The pancakes were also decent. The drinks however were just bad, for the price I paid there I can get a super good vegan drink anywhere else.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I do have a fondness for vegetables and have explored various options in the past. My friends and I decided to visit this Cafe primarily due to positive Google reviews. However, our experience with the Burger sandwich was disappointing, and none of us found it enjoyable. Even the fries didn't meet our expectations. I've had better quality vegetable dishes elsewhere, so this Cafe doesn't rank as my favorite. The customer service was mediocre.
Probably wandered in to this place on a bad day for the chef. Ordered the Om Burger and the bun was extremely dry and the tempeh patty was just not great to taste. The bun was also burnt which left a bitter taste. And the HUGE lettuce leaves! The potato wedges on the side were also very dry and a bit burnt. The falafel bowl was fresh, not the best but definitely much better. Smoothies are nice. Probably won’t visit again, a bit surprised because the place has high ratings. This place is a hidden gem for folks looking for a vegan place. The ambience and food all gelled perfectly well. We were surprised since our toddler was calm throughout the dine-in. Talking about food, our toddler loves the 7 veggies soup healthier option and we loved the burger and bowl. Overall no negative experience here. It was good. The sweet potato burger is SO GOOD. The whole meal is surprisingly filling while not making you feel super heavy. I dined in, and the service was good too. I definitely will make this a regular stop whenever I come to Burlington! July 2023: the restaurant is still delicious. I ate the Californian sandwich and avocado fries and it was fantastic!
Food and service were brilliant. Patio is decent. Stroller accessibility and ability to fit in a bathroom or change a baby, not so much. Other patrons had to help with the door so we could get in and outside.
The first time I visited, I liked this place. The service was excellent. Along with other meals I ordered a smoothie and it was so delicious, I ordered another one. The great thing about Lettuce love is that it is all things vegan/ Vegetarian. The smoothie was a guiltless sweet because of all the natural ingredients. If you ever find yourself in Burlington, Ontario, near to the waterfront, stop by there a try their wide variety of delectable treats. Stop by today. Vegetarian options: As the name suggests there is love for vegetables {lettuce}. Fully vegetarian Parking: The location is kilometres off the 403. It is very close to the waterfront, making it ideal to stop by. We got parking right in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: It is certain you will find something for the kids they will enjoy.
A cosy vegan spot in Burlington with outstanding food. Vegan food is generally spicy but Lettuce love Cafe have done a brilliant job in providing flavourful vegan food at reasonable prices. 4 of us ordered 4 mains and we were stuffed. All the mains we ordered were fantastic in flavour and quality of ingredients. I highly suggest all of them if you can try. Definitely coming here again soon! Great Job Lettuce Love Cafe Team!
Spent the day in and around Burlington, and searched for a place to eat with good reviews. Super happy that I found Lettuce Love. Wonderful staff, cute little place, and the food was delicious. The star was definitely the Mega Salad. Looks a bit underwhelming, but has a lot of flavour and we all loved it.Food: 5/5
I had the BLAT and it was okay-ish. I really do hope restaurants stop saying vegan bacon, vegan chicken, vegan whatever instead of the real ingredients in the food. The BLAT’s vegan bacon really just tasted like coconut and something else- I wasn’t expecting it. On some day I would have maybe liked coconut in my sandwich but “vegan bacon” is misleading. I just want good tasting food and meat is really not the benchmark for epitome of delicious food. Vegetables taste great- just gotta treat them for what they are.
